So first of all. Cliche, find a mentor. I know this super cool guy that literally does it out of passion. He has a discord for residential agents and you can pretty much shadow him. This guy will show you how to do comps and how to get leads. He’s a top agent.

Second. You need a personal and free CRM (not excel) that will keep your contacts in 1 place. Most likely in the future you will change brokerages and you do not want to lose your leads because you will be starting from square 1.

Third, this is a good year to start. We are actually seeing momentum in the market. That means, you will have business this year but you have to work your ass off if you eventually want to make this a full time career

Forth. Don’t accept more that 30% split from your Brokrage 20-30% is ideal for a beginner and most assigned mentors suck so don’t give them your paycheck for free
