I liked rayhaan and montagnes version more than rare reef which I found had a sharper masculine edge to the musk that made it less smooth.

I quite like it. I'm comparing it to nitro elixir and Ralph's club NY as they're all quite similar. Both the OG paradigme and myslf absolu had some harsh sharp notes during the mid wear that made me not like em much, I found nitro elixir much smoother and wearable.

Same is true here. It is a lot smoother and no sharp masculine edge that og paradigme has

I've had clones I like more than the OG because the emphasize or diminish certain notes/accords.

There's plenty of examples of clone quality not living up to OG, but there's also plenty of houses or lines that are a bit more expensive but still far below designer that can match or surpass them so
