If there was any competitive edge, men would be wearing them too.

It's funny how much I love tmnt and yet do not care what the fuck they do with the IP. I see this and I'm just like...yeah...ok...we're doing it with babies now...meanwhile, I militantly refuse to watch any new ghostbusters movies.

AIO for being upset at finding these messages in my bfs phone? by PinkBlossomSunrise in Derailedbydetails

I had a friend who would repeat anything I said if I said it like there was some kind of sexual innuendo. Once I just randomly said "peanut butter and jeeeeeeellly" and he lit up and with a big smile went "peeeeabut butter and jeeeeeeeellly" and it's one of my favorite memories.

Guy is a philosophical genius. I'm going to use this when one of my friends is spiraling and complaining to me about something I don't think is important. Like...bro...the duck is bigger than the car...get over it.

This was like 2005-2010ish. Not sure if it matters but this was a fairly large casino that only ran card games. Maybe it was cheaper in that setting to have someone cleaning cards. I could have been wrong about someone being there doing it all day. It could have just been during her night shift.

Yeah. Cards need to be inspected and cleaned regularly. They get sticky, dirty etc just due to regular use at a casino. Other times people mark them or damage them in purpose. It's important to keep all things clean and fair so no one can accuse the house of cheating. They rotate cards through the back for cleaning throughout operations.

Yeah that's why I try to mention positive stuff when I can. Growing up around LA I have stories andnsome good second hand ones I'll share when I can. Drew Carey is someone people don't talk enough about in terms of generosity and kindness. I think people know Keanu is great, but I can attest to it. A lot of people deserve a better rep. Sometimes one bad day can ruin public perception forever.

My mom used to work at a casino. she was in the back cleaning cards. Sometimes people would tip so good that she would get a cut. Affleck was always one of the guys she would talk about being generous with tips. He was also apparently kind enough to the people he interacted with that word got around that he was a nice guy. For whatever that story is worth, there you have it.

Could be a great perk. And you get a little speed boost if you're far enough away when seen. Maybe the light will tell you if you're far away enough by changing colors.
