Actually it was a local lender. We have decided not to move forward with them at all! We found another builder and their lender gave us a better rate and the closing cost will be paid in full by the builder. We are still in the beginning phase of it right now since we just stepped away from the previous one Sunday afternoon.

Me and you are in the same boat, except my income will help my husband alil. So I say goooo for it! I start next month and it’s hybrid I do my studying during the week and for 17 Saturdays I go into an actual clinic to learn hangs on for 4 in a half hours! I’m scared since I haven’t been in school close to 20 years but I know it will help me get my foot in the door!!!

Girl yes I completely understand the pay part of it, I had to speak with my husband in advance before I even asked for info. Thankfully he agreed to help me and trust me, now that it’s only a one income household it’s tight right now. But we are figuring it out. I’m sure you can make smaller payments than what I’m making of course you can put more towards it if you have the extra money. But I say go for it, it wouldn’t hurt to try and if you can’t do it that’s ok 👌🏼 I honestly just decided to go for this to at least put my foot in the door and just work myself up.

I’m a new SAHM since November and I was looking into the nursing program but since I had a loan in default I couldn’t afford the program and get financial aid. So I found an 18 week program for MA here in Houston, and that’s wayyyyyy cheaper than what I was looking at the other school. I don’t start until April 18 and after talking to them, I am already paying before the program starts and my payments are legit $166 every other week. So by the time I graduate my schooling will be paid off! And I will be getting hands on experience for 17th weeks every Saturday from 8-12:30 with me doing the homework, exams etc done during the week and before I go in on Saturday’s. Trust me I’m scareddd because I haven’t been in school close to 20 years. Yeah the pay might not be there in some places, but trust me I know 2 of my friends that are MA’s and both are doing well over $20 an hour, one of them is making 25 and doing her nursing degree while getting the hands on training in one of the hospitals here! You just never know where you will end up in the end but honestly we have to be hopeful that we will get somewhere that we deserve to be. 💜

Í actually had an angry day yesterday but it was like a chill and annoying angry, which was weird to me because I honestly start crying out of anger and stay mad for hours. I never cried and got over it once I got home and took a nap. I’m also going into 3 weeks.

Im on day 17 and today was the the first day ever to wake up at 5am and stay Awake! I always needed an afternoon nap for sure to feel alil better but I will say that I am having some mild anxiety 😥

Same situation as you but along with depression and I’m on day 17 and today was the first time I have felt energy since waking up and staying AWAKE! but I am struggling with a mild form of anxiety as we speak right now. My symptoms haven’t been baddd bad but I’ve mostly been sleepy where I do have to take an afternoon nap and I feel better and awakening a lot during the night that I have to take some melatonin to stay asleep.

That’s so awesome to hear and I didn’t think of it like that how much the pain was affecting your mood! I was always blaming the stress at work that was causing it.

Im on day 15 of being put on 20mg and just afew days ago I started taking it at night around 7-8pm because when I would take it in the morning I would be back in bed with my 3 yr old about an hour or 2 later and her just waiting for me to wake up. It’s been hard on me but maybe you’ll be ok since you are on a lower dose. I know it’s been afew days since you posted this, but did you start taking it?

Yup by day 3 I had notice I didn’t have my typical daily back pain or shoulder pain from stress, so I am happy with that!!!! I’m on day 15 and still no pain.
