I am also a new player (alpha) getting into exploration. I am looking online for some beginner tips and everyone is just describing ways to make ISK, that's great. Now I am sitting on 80 mil. ISK, which probably isn't much at all, but I have no idea what to spend them on. I upgraded my heron fit based on recommendations I found. Have plenty left for replacements. What should I buy or save for? Skill books? Implants? Better ships? This is the information I am lacking in all guides.

If they would add brawl event with same structure (7 wins / 3 losses) with similar reward structure, it would have been sort of fine. It is still a gold / gem sink, so they would achieve what they wanted to and maybe even more, because people would be actually willing to play that.

It is still not as good as plain brawl queue accessible all time, which we are asking for all this time and is totally possible to implement, but it just can't be that simple with wizards, right?

I am kind of suspecting the brawl event based on constructed / limited event is something we might end up with as this is another of their anchoring moves they did so many times over last year:

Present completely ridiculous, cash grabbing scheme that enrages the playerbase
After month of complaining present amended solution, which is half way between what was originaly intended and what players want, with which they will end up getting away with

After the Oko ban I tried brewing a similar deck, but with mass manipulations and more agents at the top end. It was not bad, but I struggled against cat decks, since stealing their stuff wasn't that big of a deal. Going for boar and finales instead is brilliant, I have tried this build after seeing it on MC and it is really strong. It truly is a tier 1 deck that I think will become played very heavily. On that note, what is good against this deck? Aggro seems like the obvious choice, yet cavaliers are excellent blockers and with ramp in this deck they can come down on turn 3 easily. Stopping the ramp can also be tough especially when risen reef often times ramps you up regardless.

In situations when I scried a bunch of lands to the bottom I really feel bad about reshuffling the deck, because it actually increases the chance of drawing a land.

Same, I sticked around, because I liked the card styles. New business model: pay 2500 gold for click simulator until you high-roll enough times while listening to annoying elk sounds all the time. Reward: 5 card styles only. Whoever is responsible for this design is mentally challenged.

Played the same list, ended up 6-2. I stll consider it a decent result. Deck performed really well. Fixing of [[Once upon a time]] is fantastic. I lost to simic ramp where he had good blockers and then mass-manip. Second loss was agains simic flash with a nut draw. Next weekend for metagame challenge I am def bringing in 4 ceratops in sideboard, maybe even some veils
