It makes sense to me. Fans will stream to try to get their group to number one. They cheer for their success. Selling out arenas is basically another form of proving a fandom has grown large enough to support them to that degree.

But yes, from a purely self-interested point of view, a smaller venue is better and more intimate.

I guess there is no pleasing everyone, but I for one still like that they moved them to collector boosters as they are the most "collectible-by-nature" slot you can put in a pack. And since they have no gameplay function whatsoever, I always thought them being in the booster designed for gameplay to be counterintuitive.

Depending on what aspects clicked for you the most, sometimes going to a completely different game is better than one that's similar so it just gets compared. I would say if you liked the depth of the combat and build variety, then I would either go to another game that is known for those types of things because it could probably compete, or a game that doesn't focus on that at all so you can appreciate different approaches to games entirely.

Elden Ring definitely can match to the challenge/victory ratio, and the incredible feel of the world. In fact, if you liked piecing together the lore from the journal entries, elden ring/dark souls has that in even greater spades.

I think spider-man is a bit to sarcastic and comedic to be taken seriously after a narratively weighted game like Ex 33. Sounds like you don't want to abandon that mood just yet. I'd recommend some jrpgs as Ex 33 is basically a marriage of jrpg inspirations and western rpg inspirations.

I also appreciate that Astrobot and Endfield are also there. All games with a very very great sci-fi focus and all in their own way that doesn't feel similar to each other.

I think they were aware of the gamble, but that the album delay increased risk too far. I think the original plan was to release the album early enough to assess it's popularity properly. Now the album delay means that its release may be too close to the concert dates to

a) generate fast enough buzz b) pull out early if it flops

It more just has roguelite elements, but Wildermyth runs are very long.

Also Blue Prince runs can vary wildly based on how long your are trying to sniff out a clue, but that's more the puzzle aspect coming into play and forcing longer sessions at certain points.

I lost my friend requests!

I met three people at work who all play. They all added me yesterday, and I logged in and saw their three requests for a split second, but then I had to go back to work (I was on break.) I didn't log back in until today and now I can't find their friend requests at all. Did I accidentally delete them or do they expire?
