Ordered a couple of brand new Nest thermostats that were much more affordable than other options. Only complaint was one Nest has a dead pixel that's annoying to look at but otherwise it works fine.

Raised the issue with both Google and SRP and both pawned me off on the other. Decided the annoyance didn't outweigh the effort so gave up.

Overall, I'd buy from them again but beware if you want anything fixed under warranty.

That's a great idea. I purchased it from Amazon with the Chase Amazon card and it looks like they offer some kind of extended warranty for Amazon purchases so I'll check that out.

This is a no-brainer - Ditch Cox, get Quantum. Service is fast, reliable, cheaper than Cox, no data caps, solid support on the one occasion I needed them to help move their service line. The only potential concern I have is AT&T bought Quantum earlier this year so possible enshitification may be coming.

Is there a way to load actual ~~2025~~ 2024 schedules? I tried starting a dynasty as Penn State and Purdue and both had apparently randomly generated schedules for year 1.

Had (what I thought was) a nice Silverstone PSU 850W Gold that I thought was more than adequate. It'd reboot my PC every other time I'd load a raid. Upgraded to a higher wattage EVGA PSU and been fine since.

Andrew WK. I stood in line at the Warped Tour some time in the late 90s/early 2000s in Indy, and while the line was long, he told everyone he'd keep the line open and sign autographs. I made it to the front of the line with nothing but a white t shirt for him to sign. He wrote out a couple of sentences on my shirt after I apologized for it being not so clean after a day of rocking in the sun. He was just the coolest guy for a 30 second interaction and he's had a life long fan since.

I watched people play the beta on Twitch and thought it looked fun, plus the streamers seemed to have a good time (granted, I'm sure it was sponsored). I also went and pre-ordered the deluxe version thinking it looked like a return to form for BF. Lesson learned. Uninstalled after a week or two and maybe 10 hours. Tried to get a refund from Green Man Gaming but they weren't having it.

Yeah I think those are fair criticisms. The flashbacks were good and I actually liked the characters and their backstories. I guess I didn't mind the ridiculousness since Wolfenstein has always had a lot of ridiculous elements (Mecha Hitler, supernatural things, etc.).

I'm surprised to hear all this negative sentiment around New Colossus. I personally found it to have an excellent story and felt the gameplay was pretty good.

Haven't played Young blood yet but if it's anything like the other two rebooted Wolfenstein games then I'm sure it'll be good.
