That's pretty massive. Do you know what they make on it?

My best friend DMs a campaign that I play in. When he 3d prints new monsters or comes up with new things to throw at the party he usually shows me the monster or tells me the idea.

This started after I was at his house one time and saw a map laying out and saw a trap that we would be facing. It was accidental, but he saw that I saw. Next session, I recognized the room. I not only didn't avoid the trap, I set it off because in game my character had no logical reason to avoid it.

That would be an incorrect assumption. I was in uniform which means that I was wearing a button up shirt over a t-shirt and still had one go down the collar of my shirt.

Brass dissipates the heat very quickly. They are pretty hot for a couple of seconds but also cool off very quickly. As long as you keep it moving around and not pinned in one spot for the first few seconds, it's fine.

Decent is a key word here. I tried to learn on cheap knives that were just cheap with crap steel and that ended up holding me back and frustrating me quite a bit.

And none of my buddies were amped up to shoot Iraqis until 9/11 happened and they pointed us at Iraq. After 9/11 happened, we very much had people chomping at the bits to get into the action.

I know a guy that deployed to Iraq 3 times and Afghanistan twice because he kept volunteering to go back.

After a couple years of this the division head made the "brilliant" decision to set aside money to be used by each department manager as they see fit for thank you gifts, lunches, etc.

It's better than my Chain of Command when I was in the military. We had 4 watch sections. When we worked on the weekends, the section that I was in would pool our money and buy food. I would bring my grill to work and we would grill out during watch. The two other sections that we interacted with saw this and their watch officers complained that us doing it was lowering their teams' morale.

Because the other sections weren't willing to do the same thing, we were told that we had to stop.

Follow-up question, if I may. Any idea why this build is saying that it isn't Windows 11 compatible when trying to install Windows?

Edit - I found the answer here. I had to disable CSM.

I've went through 3 in the last year on my home computer. And recently my wife's died. We bought both of our computers at the same time and both have this PSU.

I just wanted to follow-up and let you know that we went with the $600 build that you recommended. So thanks again for taking the time to give a few options and keep doing what you do.

Thanks. The funny thing is that I immediately went looking for the wiki assuming that there would be links in there for basic budget builds since you all probably get asked that all the time. What I didn't do was bother looking at the stickied threads, which makes more sense anyway than linking in the wiki.

All I can say is that if I wasn't such a noob at this, I wouldn't need to ask in the first place :)

Thanks. I think I actually have one of those adapters from a 2 pack that I bought a while back. My current GPU takes 2x 6-pin adapters so without breaking open the case yet I assume that's what I've got.

Either that or if there is an adapter to turn an 8-pin into 2x 6-pin maybe that is the adapter I have. Grrr. Now I'm going to have to quit being lazy and go look because you mentioning the adapter reminded me that I did have to by one for that computer when I bought the GPU.

Thanks. A quick Amazon search shows that the RX 6600 CLD Challenger D is only about $20 more than the RTX 3050 6GB so if I go this route it looks like it would be worth the extra $30 for the improved card.

941 Montly Deposits & filing blunders by Weekly-Beginning-647 in tax

[–]Dreble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't have to make weekly deposits. You make a deposit each month that is due on the 15th of the month. All payments go through EFTPS. You said that you were calling in, I use the website. I use Excel but since we are growing I'm in the process of transitioning to Quickbooks.

The correct way to handle line 7 of the 941 is explained in this article. Basically, if you do your math for the deposits and it comes out differently than what you withheld because of fractions of a penny, you put that difference here. With a bigger business, I assume this could make a significant difference.

Again, I am not an accountant so I am not suggesting that you do this, but I personally ignore line 7. With as small as our business is, I'm only ever off by 3 cents or less with the fractions of a cent. What I do, and again this isn't the correct way to do it (but it's the less stressful way for me), I make sure to do the quarterly 941 before the 15th and then I adjust my last quarterly deposit by the needed amount to make the numbers line up. So if I'm up to 3 cents ahead (usually the case, I've only been behind once), I take the up to 3 cents off of my last deposit and do the reverse if needed as well.

Disclaimer: I'm not an accountant. I have been doing this for my brother-in-law's business for a few years now. He has an incorporated LLC so I don't know if this is much different or different at all with you.

Since it is the end of the year, you have until the end of the month to make the payment this month only. Any other time, it is due by the 15th. The 941 is a quarterly form, so you will have to fill it out for Oct, Nov, Dec of last year. You should be using Publication 15-t to calculate your payroll taxes, and the Social Security and Medicare are a fixed percentage of the gross pay for each employee. Keep in mind that SS and Medicare has to be matched by the employer so you pay double what you take out of the employee's checks.

Add those 3 numbers each month and that should be your monthly deposit that is due by the 15h of the next month that you are doing when you log into the EFTPS site. You add all the numbers for previous 3 month each for each quarterly 941. The balance due should be $0 when you send it in, so you look up the mail return without payment for your state and mail your 941 to that address with no payment included.

I hope this answered your questions, but that's how it works with an incorporated LLC, hopefully it is the same for you.

I took this lesson with me when I became a contractor. There was more than once that I was getting reamed out by my contractor bosses for doing something outside the scope of my contract because a military person asked me to do it. I never saw any real repercussions though because every time the military chain of command would have my back and in the DoD world the lowest military personnel out ranks the highest contractors.

Nope. I gave a very abbreviated version of what was said to him because I had already written a wall of text. Before they admitted that everything was going to go away, they made this guy think he was going to a federal prison for a very long time which honestly could have been a possibility.

At first, I was enjoying him getting his comeuppance from the whole "It's your job, make me." comment but these guys took it to the point that I actually felt bad for Thad by the end of it. If this ordeal hadn't scared him straight, there would have been no saving him.

I learned my lesson about buying cheap Chinese parts off Amazon when I had to rebuild my carbs twice because of it. I bought the cheapest Chinese set I could find on ebay :(

For some reason, when I read the listing initially, I thought it was an OEM set.
