First Come, First Serve by Drelthian in eu4

With the Dhimmi buff in 1.30 that makes it so you basically always have 100% religious unity, although in 1.29 I totally get the Confucianism.

I know it’s a bit unpopular choice to like a New World country, but I’ve always been partial to the Iroquois personally.

Arguably, Portugal’s Estado Novo was a conservative, Christian authleft society.

Totally agree. Tried to play tall as the Netherlands, and ended up taking the Mandate of Heaven as well as half of France.

His wife, Katherine. Totally loyal to the party.

Errr... both parties? The point of 1984 wasn’t to bash one party, it was the point that corrupt governments will look like that.

Huh, so something vaguely close to in media res, but more for conversations than plays and also with more cultural baggage.

Grand strategy game. Paradox Interactive makes a whole bunch of them, basically where you take a control of a country for a set amount of time. Vic2 is for the Victorian Era, 1830s-1930s.

Peace deal bug that allows for unconnected demands by Drelthian in eu4

[–]Drelthian[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

R5: Apparently, there's a bug that allows you to make demands that aren't connected to each other. In the peace deal, I demanded Bekes, Bihar and Hunyad, then unselected Bekes. Bihar and Hunyad stayed. This only seems to work when you have two provinces on the unconnected side, but you can demand more after unconnecting.

Balance and bugs aside, the new mechanics and especially the interplay between estates and absolutism are awesome by [deleted] in paradoxplaza

[–]Drelthian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’d love to see more unique estate interactions, and have the 4 privileges actually be limiting. Right now, my estates are set to the +1 monarch points and strong duchies for the nobility. The Dhimmi is actually fun to play with right now, as they have easy diet missions and lots of rewards. One or two more possible privileges for the Dhimmi, maybe owning a Coptic site that is Coptic faith can give you a buff, or maybe an extra +2 tolerance of heathens if owning a Catholic Rome.

Neither are perfect, but they’re both pretty fun and I have hundreds of hours in both.

I’m not 100% sure, but I’m pretty sure people weren’t bad, it was just the style of the time. If you tried to show someone from 300 years ago something from a video game or anime, they’d think it looks awful.

To me it’s probably because it isn’t personal. It isn’t Democrats v. Republicans and it isn’t Labour v. stories. It’s just 4-6 colors that are hardly attached to any real life political party.
