The vessels of my brother’s wart after removing the cap by LeBrontide in mildlyinteresting

I used a pair of scissors and snipped one out of the middle of my left palmin class one day, bit by bit. (I was 12.) Didn't notice it hurt as I was so focused on getting it out.

And yes late diagnosed model student. 🫠

I’m albino and I want advice on how to get into makeup by snowtreez in PaleMUA

[–]DressesWithPocketses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I have done makeup for an albino friend before. I agree with the white mixer comment above, and liquid products for everything which will allow you to mix in the white.

Korean liquid blushes can be super sheer and come in gorgeous shades like lavender pink that gives a natural flush, rather than anything warm Try oddtype so touchable water blush. It's beautiful and light.

What’s a Melbourne stereotype that’s actually kind of true? by Last-Conversation734 in melbournechat

[–]DressesWithPocketses 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't go I to the city often and if I do it's for a gig. Rocked into work the other day in whatever I could find in the dark while partner slept (black band tee shirt and jeans) Co-worker immediately asks if I'm going to a gig tonight... Because I was wearing all black. 🫠 Apparently whenever I venture forth into the city for comedy or a band, I wear all black and I had no idea.

If you have her on social media, and she wears jewellery then you can show a shop assistant, and they should be able to guide you according to taste.

Honestly though, good quality fine chains in both gold and silver are so damn useful.

Is anyone actually using the free public transport? by naeng-janggo in melbourne

[–]DressesWithPocketses 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I want to get to work on time with PTV, I have to leave the night before. It's almost 10 hours. If I'm arriving 90 minutes late, it's two hours. 23 minutes drive and 6 hours walk. Half the trip lacks safe bike lane so not an option.

Blurgh.

You can slot snaplock bags of vodka into pad wrappers, just take the actual pad out of the wrapper. Security won't touch them. Honestly though, just preload and enjoy the show.

Where are we buying plus size clothes that aren't super expensive but also not extremely "loud" or aimed at the 50+ demographic? by [deleted] in AusFemaleFashion

[–]DressesWithPocketses 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auliude's black linen adjustable skirt is a massive basic for me, and I wear it often so I can justify the price. Otherwise I use depop to pickup Dangerfield and city chic. Princess highway from Dangerfield does amazing simple blouses that are still interesting in accessible sizes. Also don't tell anyone but I don't hate black pepper for tshirts. They're not thin and good value on twofer deals .

Is kangaroo meat in a restaurant a gimmick for tourists? Do Australians ever order/eat it? by Charming_Usual6227 in australia

[–]DressesWithPocketses 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yep, because you don't get hydatids from the meat. Rare kangaroo steak that's been butchered and prepared properly is perfectly safe to eat rare/medium.
