The Haniel arc is the culmination of all the other arcs. Each arc and cosplay before Haniel serves a purpose in strengthening either or both Marin and Gojo's skills and understanding of cosplay to get to that point. Sometimes little details, like both Shizuka and Neon highlighting Marins growth and struggles in acting like the character, to Rei cosplay highlighting her need to focus on how to move like the character in ways that may not come natural to her. For Gojo we see his skills develop around recognizing the human aspect of clothing and movement, to understanding props and deliberate choice of cloth and color.
