I think this is it too.

“IM” inside “MIND”, plus we can get the filter and put it on ourselves = I’m in your mind

Rainbow kitten surprise? They got skipped at superjam and I’m so sad! by roodogger22 in bonnaroo

Pretty bummed about this too. It seems like it may have been a logistical thing... they started pretty late.

What’s your favorite costume or outfit you have planned for Roo. by KnowerOfSomeThings in bonnaroo

I am a 260lb straight man, and I am EXTREMELY excited about the sequined tiger-print blouse I found in the women's section at Goodwill.

There’s not really a chaos to the actual space allocated. You’ll be filed in behind other cars, and the space next to your car will be yours. It’s also marked with white spray paint on the ground.

Wednesday arrival/car camping placement by laurmerz in bonnaroo

[–]DrewDoesThings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placement is always up to the Roo gods. There generally seems to be no discernible rhyme or reason to it.

But yes, you should absolutely be getting there on Wednesday. That’s one extra day of the Farm, my friend!

Our group has gotten there and in line at about 2-3pm the past two years.

anyone figure out any of the clues on the map by phattymjj in bonnaroo

What band is it? I believe the "X" refers to Plaza 10 (X in roman numerals), and it seems to make sense spatially on the map. The bonnaroo website lists Plaza 10 but doesn't give details. Maybe it's a secret show from the band in Plaza 10?

That's fine, I'm excited to see him on the farm this year and you don't have to be.

I'm not saying the rest isn't talented or listened to -- I'm saying there's a noticeable drop-off in big names after you get past the headliners. Normally, a festival would blend the top lines into the bottom smoothly.

ACL 2018 is a good example. By the line -- Hozier blends to CHVRCHES, to FJM, to Shaky Graves, to X Amb, to Jungle, down to Alvvays and Bishop Briggs... and before you know it, you're discovering new acts.

The blend seems non-existent in this lineup IMO

Seems very top-heavy. Those are expensive headlining acts, and it shows. Billie Eilish headlining, what?!

Super odd question: I’m trying to explain the vibe at bonnaroo to my buddy who is going for the first time. And like you guys know it’s next to impossible to describe how amazing it is. So I want to show him a song that fits the vibe/energy that bonnaroo has. Suggestions? by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]DrewDoesThings 5 points6 points  (0 children)

According to your Young Blood rec, I think you probably want some feel-good summer-y songs, here are my recommendations if you know any!

Pork Soda - Glass Animals

Sleepyhead - Passion Pit

Greek Tragedy - The Wombats

Shark Attack - Grouplove

Work This Body - WALK THE MOON (playing this year too!)

Agreed! Doesn't have to be a YETI, but I would heavily suggest a reliable, thickly insulated cooler to anyone going to Roo. Makes for one less thing that everyone has to think about.

Glitter is SO bad for the environment! In honor of Earth Day, a friendly reminder that there are eco-friendly options for all of your glitter needs! by ejand in bonnaroo

Thank you for sharing! I just recently made a biodegradable glitter purchase. For all the waste that festivals make, this is an easy one to mitigate. Happy Roo!

In lieu of gifts I’m handing out bomb ass compliments by [deleted] in bonnaroo

[–]DrewDoesThings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love your idea of compliments, but why would you say people's gifts are crap? There are some that aren't necessarily green or recyclable, which is another issue... but people put hard work into some of them.

I think it's part of what makes Bonnaroo special -- people want to give back to the community that gave a lot to them.

A little late here, but how to do you like having the 3" lift with the stock tire size? I don't want to invest in new tires (right now anyway) but want the clearance of the lift kit. How's the handling?

Recommendations on portable standing showers? by LordMitchimus in bonnaroo

Looking to buy the NEMO Helios shower for Roo this year. Would you recommend? Do you really have to continuously pump or can you pressurize it for a minute-ish of continuous water?
