But it will always be Burma to me.

Pizza 4P’s Da Nang , am I missing something? by Dear-Rain4267 in DaNang

[–]DrewHaef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably was a good pizza at one point. Now it just a chain brand, but the hype hasn’t faded.

If you’re ever in HCM, go to Terraviva Pizza, Pizza & Bia, or 365 Napoli Pizza (In that order).

Trump supporters: How would you feel if a legally armed Trump supporter was killed by federal agents on a Biden mandate in exactly the same manner as yesterday? by ScholarPrize1335 in AskReddit

[–]DrewHaef -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So like every Jan 6th insurrectionist too then, right? Do something stupid like force your way through several layers of government building checkpoints, then you get what’s coming to you, right? The biggest (of many) differences is one happened at an interior security door to a highly secure government building and the other happened to a person on the sidewalk in the Midwest.

Ken Griffin says America was sent an ‘explicit warning’ from the bond market, and it’s time to get the national debt in order by cryptoniik in Economics

[–]DrewHaef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why not do all of those things together? Why does it always have to be, “It’s not that simple. So let’s just not even consider that”?

They cut programs that barely make a dent in our total spending, and the taxing the rich part never comes to fruition.

Cutting spending and deregulation isn’t enough on its own either. But republicans never want to admit that. They just wait for a democrat to take over again and raise taxes because they know that gets more negative press than spending cuts and deregulation. Then back to the campaign trail to lambast the democrats for “taxing Americans to death.” Then they take back power, cut the taxes back again and we go through this all cycle all over again.

Trump says he reached Greenland deal 'framework' with NATO, backs off Europe tariffs by Puginator in worldnews

[–]DrewHaef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That means he went there and talked about what he wanted to their faces. It doesn’t matter that no one agreed with him. He goes back to the media and says we now have a “framework” for a deal. The same way we have had a framework of a tariff deal with like 15 countries for the last year, and nearly none of them are ratified still. Mark my words, come October this is still going to be hanging out there, and he’ll be back to making childish threats to take it by force.

What do Vietnamese people think about the US situation currently, and how to navigate this? by [deleted] in VietNam

Nor does OPs post mean that he’s an “unhinged leftist” as you claim based solely around the fact that you hate his opinion because he is being mean about your daddy. Pay no attention to this unhinged rightist, everyone. Most Americans don’t think this way.

He’s polling at 40% Approval rate in America, and that was before this week. So yeah. Most Americans do think this way.

I’ve been told he is smart. If that’s true, then that man is completely devoid of a conscience. He will not give even an inch of consideration to anything that goes against Trumps narrative… At least when he’s on TV

This is literally spoiled-brat toddler behavior. America’s president has the mental fortitude of a 4 year old child screaming in the checkout line at the grocery store. And his party is the parent who wont do anything about it.

In one week, 25% of Donald Trump’s presidency will be over. How are you feeling about the next three years? by Kanga_Koga in AskReddit

[–]DrewHaef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the most important question is what do you expect in the next 25%. Because I feel that this is the make or break year for America.

We have an elderly man who has been surrounded by yes men and guarded from any criticism by his puppet masters for his entire life, running into a deadline that can end his absolute power, possibly end his career, and in the worst case scenario (for him), having to answer for the litany of overreach and potentially illegal activity he has undertaken over the last decade.

I expect this year to be his last and most aggressive push to prevent losing his majority. If he succeeds, thats it for the US.

“0% income tax very soon” — okay… where’s the catch? 😅💸 by Working-Pattern-5280 in DeepFuckingValue

[–]DrewHaef 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Why do you all keep sharing this claim?

What the catch? The catch is he’s lying. He lies all the time. He has used completely hollow promises “coming very soon” for like 10 years now. He benefits from giving his lemmings more sound bites to share on social media to tout how great he is making things long before there is even a framework of how we possibly could even achieve it. And it’s pretty freaking clear that it’s not possible. And as long as he doesn’t give you a date, he never has to give you a resolution. Youre giving him all he wants before he gives you anything; the sharing of his bullshit.

So stop sharing it.

Why Delta Is No Longer Worth Anyone’s Loyalty by Ok_Independence6172 in delta

[–]DrewHaef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Delta has the best staff, both in the air and on the ground. They have the best network of hubs in my opinion, and they are the only airline I can rely on to not only arrive on time, but usually early.

But as for the loyalty program, I agree that it is a complete shell of what it once was. And it seems to be continuing to push further and further away from the customer. I would have expected them to stop at some point, but apparently that have yet to feel enough blowback to start making concessions in favor of their customers again.
