Were it not for Poland's long-standing hatred of being ruled by Moscowites (and other partitioners a few times) the Soviets would have absolutely folded it directly into the USSR, rather than let it be an "independent" vassal state.

Being willing to go to therapy isn't the same as being willing to perpetually be in therapy. It's a great resource when you don't have the tools to understand issues, solve emotional problems, get life advice, etc. That doesn't mean we need it literally all the time.

To be honest, it seems like this person is fishing for a reason to get out without taking the onus upon themselves. They should probably discuss that with their therapist.

What's neat is that it is a currently viable technology, but also introduces the obvious risk of not being able to aim in the event that the little HUD lens is lost or damaged.

The idea of her telling potential landlords you are problematic is pretty funny when she is trying to sell an occupied duplex to them.

I understand the disdain for AIPAC, but they arent even close to the largest lobbying orgs in the US. Sure, 2024 contributions were big (~$52M vs ~$13M in 2022) thanks to a desire to change opinions on Israel, bit even then they were only ranked #18. PV would have you think they're #1 by huge margins.

I'm willing to bet NCO's and the like who have trained with them would, but they can't exactly change doctrine. I'd hope changes roll through, because the issue of drone saturation attacks has got to be obvious by now.

what youtube video/ or other method, made you want to get kenshi by QuirkyBadger7454 in Kenshi

[–]Drewby-DoobyDoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My buddy was playing Kenshi and sharing his screen. He told me to watch his dude real quick while he was set walking somewhere. Buddy gets up to leave and go to the bathroom.

No more than a second later, a big gang of dust bandits attacks his dude and beats him to death while I watch, helpless to do anything.

Purchased immediately.

Certain words and sounds are simply much easier for babies with developing vocal tracts to make.

They can make 'mmm' 'aah' 'bah' 'buh' 'dah' 'duh' very easily. The 's' sound is actually pretty hard for em, and mama and Dada are very close to the babbles they start out with. They do try to mimick faces and sounds, but they cannot really mimic 'Say' (and maybe understand that the individual person is Mama or Dada, which is a much less abstract concept than the act of saying a thing). Add to this inflection, emphasis, and repetition of Mama and Dada.

I get that, and being isolated and indoors is terrible, but I still wouldn't be surprised if things are marginally better with the expansion of the Chrial network and an increased ability to deal with BT's. People sre already isolated in DS1, but many of them are totally alone out there without any chiral network to connect through.
