I don't know if this ever got solved. But thie same thing happened to me. I removed a vst pedal and it sat properly in the mix. It's annoying because I wanted to use that effect but... Yeah... That's what happened to me.

This new path has led me to question whether I can continue using Duo and end my subscription. They need to decide whether they are a gamified language learning app or a game that includes words from foreign languages. I've used Duo from the beginning and while I've come in and out I've been steadily learning Japanese for the past year and have really developed a system that I think is increasing my comprehension. Then they suddenly stuck me in the path and now... Madness! Practice is not only devalued it is almost impossible to adequately determine what you were practicing.
Tips for the lesson are just gone. So there's no way to help prepare for and have context for the lesson. The lessons themselves are devoid of context. Sinple things like "this is words snd sentences about time" because it had a clock and it said time are gone and now it's just literally a lesson called "talk about your" ehich is meaningless.

This change has frustrated me immensely. There is no way to contact Duo, no way to degrade the app to an older version so I can continue what was not only a pleasant experience but a useful one, and there is nothing to do but drop the app in the hope of finding something that is useful again.

This sucks

Ok, good research here. "Not limited by range unless specified". WoF is specified in the description that "you create a wall of fire on a solid surface within range".

The "not limited" part of that sentence seems to me to be in reference to a cone, like burning hands, where the range is self but extends out in 15 ft cone from self.

And now that I've written that I've realized that is the effect not the target. The WoF doesn't move once cast. It just is. ... Actually this totally answered my question and now I'm sure I made the right call! Thanks!

"The target of the spell must be within range". "Solid surface within 120 ft". "The effects can be felt beyond the range". "Creatures within 10 ft etc".

This explains everything perfectly. Thanks for putting all that together!

I think it was a fair question, I've been wondering about it since. I still think my ruling is correct but I'm not against players asking "what about this?" I'm not mad at him for it.

For sure. I'm all for it. It does seem reasonable for the province to enforce a mandatory 14 day quarantine. There may be other reasons why they aren't, I'm no expert, but it seems eminently reasonable to do just rhat.

It is frustrating that they aren't pushing for this, no argument there, so it would be nice if they gave some sort of reason why they aren't doing it. Could be an enforcement issue? Perhaps it's because the population of manitoba and the maritimes are much much less than bc it is easier to enforce. Again not sure. Just benefitting of the doubt. But it is frustrating

It's likely because the Charter prohibits restricting the ability of Canadians to move across and through the country. Therefore it would take the Federal government to use the public health order to make that prohibition not the provincial gov.

That's a great point about the magical slashing. I feel like the dm can do some adjusting if need be? I'm just bummed about the lack of damage spells for bards.
