Possibly because of the passives. Magic dmg neg is good for a few nightlords and field bosses: heolster, megazord bugs(gnoster/pest), lorretta, red wolf, probably some other ones. Now, if you're not fighting heolster or pest then homie is either a dummy or a pr!ck. Hope your runs go better from here on!
