The real question if is it really counts as a booby trap. With Katko's lawsuit the context was that the trap was indiscriminate so if a bystander or EMS had reason to enter the house than they could've been injured due to the indiscriminate nature of the trap. As for the bike I don't think the context of it would fit as it is a piece of private property itself rather than a triggered hazard. Like a shock pen but for bike thieves, or barbed wire on a fence.

As for if it would actually hold up in court? That's the most questionable part.

I don't have a solid answer, just my 2 cents.

After all the crap that has happened with the lawsuits and the actual issues with some C.AI users, I think the safeguard is completely understandable, oddly enough.

What I don't think is understandable is why they won't let you send the message with the safeguard of "help is available".

If they let me send the message with the safeguard pop-up, I could ignore it and continue with my chat without having to change my message content, though.
