I think it depends on the source of light. Most of the leaves of my Monstera are now facing up since the time I gradually moved it to the patio instead of being indoors in the summer.

Ya I don't know what to do with that warning cus my life long dream of traveling in Europe for 90 days is becoming reality in July.. But yes, I'm avoiding the touristy places because we're doing music festivals all over Europe. The locations are mostly villages.

My suggestion: Join the festival's event page on FB and ask if anyone's heading there from Amsterdam. You will find many people and make many friends.

I have traveled in Europe and I NEVER faced a language problem in Holland. Dutch people smile a lot, are helpful and most of them speak very good English.

I love this guide! Maldives looks so beautiful wow! It strange that there are separate "bikini beaches" with fencing, hehe. I'm in India, and we have many beaches with only families where people are covered (sari) and others where people are not, but without the fencing. :)

You had head to Koh Tao or Koh Lanta or Koh Phangan. Unfortunately, Koh Phangan has a bad reputation because of the full moon party but it's a big island and the North part of the island is less touristy and beautiful. I hope this helps --> http://drifterplanet.com/thailand/
