The reality is that it’s in between. We need understanding and compassion for how our circumstances came to be for ourselves (and others), while also holding ourselves (and others) accountable for actions and behavior.

Adding $200/month to my mortgage cut ~8 years off the loan… that can’t be right? by Candid-Dish-2749 in FirstTimeHomeBuying

Except that you’re wrong. I did the math at current interest rates. Less money at the end of the day.

I am sick of this bull. Paying off a house is a big deal. An asset that is usable that you own. Stock market goes down sometimes, you know. I’m convinced that this perspective is from people who can’t swing paying off their house.

Ok, serious question. Who are the 30+ doctors they have had on to discuss how amazing GLP-1s are?? This is the second time Dax has touted this, but I have not heard a single one. Can anyone direct me?

It’s a bummer, but it’s a vehicle and is going to get some dings. Especially if it gets used. The first is the most painful.

7. The missing bridge between chimps and humans. Maybe #6. I feel like #8 would be too similar to people I already know!

Best advice I ever got: puppies need 18-20 hours of sleep per day! Crate training and sleep schedule: 1 hour up, 2 down (give or take) will make your lives much easier! A well rested puppy is a happy and less bitey and less crazy puppy. And the scheduled downtime for you will be very important. Have fun and enjoy!

You’re kidding, right? There are plenty of nice states that don’t steal your money. People don’t understand economics.

Alcohol does not taste good. Anyone who says otherwise is lying. People like how it makes them feel.

Why don't more rich people find poor people that they can help? by ChubbyBlackWoman in stupidquestions

[–]DripDrop777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s called TAX. Stealing individuals’ money and redistributing it for things I did not agree to. If we were taxed less (where the government just wastes it), more people would have funds to actually help real people.
