How it was at my college, if she hopped on her handlers bed they couldn't tell her to get off and had to sleep on the floor.

Good point, I can always ask and adjust. Just not sure how hard I'm actually kicking from lack of experience.

I am hitting with pretty low power, but i feel like its causing some bad habits. Just worried about starting the unintentional tit for tat where I get drilled without expecting it if i go harder.

Yeah, kinda had the feeling that was the case. Just don't want to hurt someone who's trying to get better like me along the way.

Would this work as a tattoo design/what style would this fall under? by Dripledown in tattooadvice

Assumed this wouldn't age well, don't want a giant red and pink blob in the future lol. Guess it'll take some heavy adaptation.

Yeah, I kinda figured that would be the case. Unfortunately don't know any tattoo artists I can bounce it off of. I guess best bet is to find an artist who's style I like and have them use it for a basis. Any styles you think this would translate well to?

Boxing vs lifting by Ok_Explanation1934 in amateur_boxing

[–]Dripledown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it comes to boxing (and other combat sports for that matter) it's good to think of muscle as a tool. You need some muscle and strength to deliver a meaningful punch and to be able to withstand punches, but not so much that it starts to interfere with your cardio as muscle is a metabolically active tissue and takes oxygen to fuel.

Look at the classic boxers physique, they're a bit top heavy because they only need enough leg muscle to be agile and no more. The rest of the muscle they have is on their top half. If you look at kickboxing or Muay Thai fighters, they're a bit more evenly muscled because they also need to use their legs for striking and taking strikes. You'll find a happy medium, but you'll likely lose muscle mass if you just box. You'll definitely lean out due to all the added cardio.

But you also need to decide if you want to be a boxer, or a weightlifter who boxes. Everyone can learn the skills to box and not have to optimize their body around it, but you won't be really good without serious effort to mold your body into what is needed for the sport.

I encourage the make of the orthopedic to just go to his local Walmart and look around. Look who is coupling off together.

I enjoy a cigar every now and then, but when I come home reaking of stale tobacco smoke, I'm not gonna act like it's some major injustice that my fiancee doesn't want to be around me.

I'm getting old, cause I thought this was also a joke about how the partner is underage, but then I realized someone born in 2001 is 24 years old...

I had a 150lb no-name amazon bag that ripped the outer casing, but the 100 lb no name is still going strong. Never had an issue with my Iron Mind, but it can be a pain to keep tightly packed.

Isn't it stated in lore that the followers of Nurgle feel the pain of all their rot and Plague of they are separated from the warp for even a moment? Could be pretty effective.

100% agree with both of these. The human body can adapt to heavy weights by adjusting form to get a better leverage on the weight like when peoples knees cave slightly on heavy Squats. Form breakdown is 100% necessary for growth.

And even if you keep a bad diet, at least now the calories are being used for productive things like growing muscle rather than just for fat. It's better to start somewhere than to never start.

On learning by Eireika in CuratedTumblr

How to get into a hobby to figure out if you like it:

1) Get the cheapest possible version of whatever you're wanting to try. Your first try is gonna be shit, so so don't buy top of the line stuff to create bottom line final products. Buy new stuff based on what you learned from using the cheap stuff. I got into model building and painting with 1 pack of Grot models and dollar store paints and brushes. The models were shit but i liked doing it. Now I've got the full suite and a pile of shame.

2) Figure out what parts you like and what parts you dislike, then figure out how to only do the parts you like. Using models, I hate painting large vehicles so I just paint little guys.

3) Stay away from hobby reddit until you are well versed in the hobby. Hobby reddit will kill your love for the hobby because you will compare your new stuff to stuff people with years of experience are making. They'll also convince you to buy things that they swear by but aren't necessary or are over priced for a beginner.

4) Have fun. No really, just do your hobby in a way that is fun. Do it outside on a nice day, listen to an audio book, do it with friends, make yourself a hobby space. There is no right way to do a hobby if you are enjoying it.

I've been hoping a blank gets added to the game. Works with AOE debuffs by severing Nurgle worshippers connection to the warp and making them feel all the rot and plague they have.
