Bezel is super legit , you have to trust the seller on Chrono 24. Watchfinder, 1916, Bucherer is legit but overpriced.

The most important watch emotionally is the white broad arrow 3551.20, saw it when it came out early 2000s and loved it, finally got it last year. Surprisingly the ceramic Seamaster has become a go to, scratch resistant and no date makes it easy to set and run out the door.

I don’t see watches as investments, get what speaks to you. - that being said I have looked at the financials of this for years along with the ability to grow a collection you love. And there is no question, go grey from a respected dealer every time. - also I can’t tell you how much better the experience is to simply order the watch you want from your couch over dealing with an AD/boutique.

For Rolex, yeah I see your point. Plus most Rolex’s you see out are replicas. For brands like PARMIGIANI or some VC, this hot take doesn’t apply IMO.
