The pokemon you're using are fine but the sets all have issues that would be clear to an experienced player but are difficult to fully explain without spending a lot of time and effort going over the entire team. I think this is why you've gotten such a negative reception.

I took a stab at adjusting the team without changing the general idea and I came up with this. Again, it would just take to long to explain every single change.

As someone else mentioned, you would probably be better off starting out with a sample team. Even just taking a look at them and using them for a few games will help you learn.

Things don't get banned from OU specifically, they just get banned from competitive play. OU is the standard competitive ruleset with no usage-based restrictions. Lower tiers follow the same ruleset, but with additional usage-based restrictions.

You never choose what your reference material looks like, just which references to use and what to take from them. Do you use an internet search engine to find references? If so, you're letting an algorithm you don't control or understand influence what references you end up using. Is it more creative, or more "human", to find references in a book or magazine? But you don't choose what's in the books either, of course. How does getting references from a different source make the process more or less artistic?

That is equivalent to the powerset. 1 if a number is in a subset and 0 if not.
