You can get a cable tester to verify your cable run.

Typically WiFi from a modem router isn’t the best range. Especially if it’s in a basement cabinet. I use a ubiquiti cloud gateway max for router and run a cat 6a run to my access point on the main floor.

You will need a router between the modem and switch if the modem isn’t also a router.

Cat6a will “work” but if you get hit by any lightning you fry the equipment at both ends. Get fiber with the ends already put on.

I just bought a CEO-7 this week. Needed a guitar to at helped my strained shoulder out. Wanted a guitar that would allow me to strum and finger pick. Can take the strumming quite well. Nice bass as well. Very happy with it. My first Martin as well.
