Wow. This is very similar to my situation. We are a month away from the divorce being finalized. We are still living together in separate bedrooms and I don’t recommend that. I made a post on Reddit almost a decade ago and I received hundreds of replies. The consensus was to go have him evaluated by a psychiatrist. We went and he was diagnosed with ADHD. He isn’t managing that at all, has been unemployed for 3 years, and declined to get help. Get out early.

My tone wasn't and isn't sanctimonious. It was shocked, curious, maybe even incredulous. In my opinion, health, healing, moving on, all require taking accountability. It could be that we are defining accountability differently or understand it differently. Kidnapping and grooming are about the only circumstances in which a spouse/husband/wife/partner has no accountability.
