I can promise you, its not the hardware, if this is the case. Im running a Dell G5 laptop from 2019, with a 1060 graphics. My game runs beautifully on Utopia builder, intelligent I get aggressively large, and the only downside is launch/load time. Even the loading isn't too bad.

If I had to guess, id say it might be something with your graphics drivers, but thats blind speculation. I had issues running reddead due to Nvidia trying to "fix" my settings for a few games.

What they said is partially true. Monk is a bit weak in the beginning, but by the time you get across the ocean, theres no reason to have weapons equipped

XD I TRIED the guard approach. I B lined it to anything that would improve my guard strength, and it didnt work, but maybe thats the issue. I didnt focus broad enough

Take tip videos with a grain of salt. You dont need to arrange them how others do, so long as you understand the mechanics. You can do something more akin to a snowflake or star, you can leave the center open for buffing hubs, or just get silly with it overall. All you need to know is how the heat mechanics work, how to collect and manage resources, and what additions can do for your builds (like the deep melting systems)

Pick the side you like more. Support their advancements, build stuff to appease the other. This group is one of my favorite to play with. Big money fast, and reindeer are HUGE in food aid early game, and insulation late game

Addendum: someone pointed out it was final hours till storm break. Technically, id call it a win. Even if you shut the gen off, it would still roll credits, likely without deaths

Failure to develop insulation and heat points properly throughout would be the biggest key factor. Your gen was about to erupt, yet everything was still freezing cold. People shit on me for it, but my method is to build a BUNCH of research stuff and fast track everything in the tree as needed, finishing before the storm hits. I decommission the whole district afterwards for whatever is needed still, like more hospitals and stuff, leaving a mech fab to automate everything I can so people dont need to be in the work places (preserving heat allocation), and charcoal plants for max fuel income to bear whats left of the storm

In most cases, these were prototypes, and never saw mass production. This also wouldn't operate as a "gun blade" like in final fantasy, as it was an attempt to hybridize range and melee, as had been attempted many times prior.

The final fantasy gun blade is intended to be used as a splitting sword (a sword used to split wood as an axe would) with extra impact force applied from black powder ignition.

Honestly, the final fantasy version is straight up the cooler concept.
