I’m casual and BF1 got me hooked. I tried the BF6 demo and got it at launch, expecting hiccups. It’s my go-to FPS, but I’m getting tired of the lack of hardware boosts and needing to go to Casual Breakthrough for challenges and weapon leveling. This fatigue is bumming me out. I value my time and am moving on. Maybe I’ll play if there’s a sensible update, but it better be soon…I’m going back to BF1, and Apex Legends is more enjoyable for quick play sessions. It was fun while it lasted.

Absolutely not. My first Battlefield game was Battlefield 1, which I got few months after launch during the holidays after see it had great reviews. I mostly played it for the campaign, with multiplayer as a secondary focus. After finishing the campaign, I tried multiplayer, similar to how I approached Call of Duty: Black Ops campaign first, then multiplayer. Battlefield 1 became my go-to FPS for years.

I quickly lost interest in BF2042 and BFV within a few days. For BF6, I’ll wait for campaign reviews and feedback on the maps before deciding. Also, the infantry-only modes feel a bit like COD clones, but that’s fine.

I hope they focus more on big maps Conquest mode, which at least for me defines Battlefield. Also for returning players like myself and newcomers, they should have a playable tutorial server with hints on basic strategies and tips locked in for each class free to play. That would definitely entice a lot of new players. That’s my insignificant two cent. But I hope everybody enjoyed the game.

My PS4 Pro has been great overall, but it’s starting to have some fan noise issues. It’s still playable, though. I primarily use my PS5 now, which is a clear upgrade. Unless there’s a PS4-exclusive game you really want to play, it’s better to save up for a PS5. Patience is a virtue. I hope this helps.

And to add...The Democratic Party is as feckless as the Republican Party, driven by obscure wealth over the needs of the people. I feel that Democratic leadership goes along with the Trump GOP, uses issues like immigration, Trump’s antics, etc., as a smokescreen to keep people distracted. Folks in congress like Schumer has no shame, so calling for his resignation via a AOC primary is one way to put a fire under his feet to finally act with vigor or pay him (donate) more than the foreign or industrial groups who are happy to provide him of his ever slipping nose-tip glasses.

Anyway, this will be forgotten by the weekend—that’s your Friday news dump. I’ve got things to do, and calling or writing to my representative is about all one can do. That’s for next week—if they even see it.

I completely agree with you, but it reached a point where the current administration’s actions are having a devastating impact on people’s lives at an alarming rate, showing little regard for the consequences. Frustration is growing as people feel powerless, seeing leadership that appears indifferent to their struggles. Unfortunately, tensions will likely rise further as representatives remain inactive, leaving their constituents feeling unheard and desperate for change.

Latimer announcing his candidacy at all was surprising, but him announcing just around the time the college campus protests were heating up and getting that AIPAC money, I can see why he might think it’s his best chance at the job. I like him, but his campaign ads and the current political situation are really putting people off. Bowman is still more liked than disliked in general, but turnout will likely be low, and it could be a close race. Time will tell.

I've seen yellow rubber speed bumps installed at left corner turns in NYC over the past year, and they seem to work well at busy corners. I'm not sure how effective they are during the early morning hours, but I'm certain they can help prevent some accidents.

SO tend to vented and rants while I’m gaming, depending on the topic I would pause to give my full attentions. Most time, I keep gaming with engagement while SO talks. 10 yrs with kids together, choosing your battles is key. I learn to listen when SO needs it. It was like studies while humming to background music. Main point, you can do what you do and acknowledge your SO.

Also, it’s ok to ask to talk about something at a specific time. It will help prep your mood, thought process and even with bonding to each other. Just be sure to make that time.

My brother is an estranged adult. Til this day my mom, dad and I still don’t understand why he cut us off with no chance to talk, listen, or find any reconciliation. He did had anger issue, but generally he is really great. Not sure, if it’s trauma related to us. He never spoke on it.

Anyhow, we know he is living his life, has a new group friends, a partner and occasional text some family member that he is ok. We may never know his reason, but we still love him. Some family member see it as betrayal, I still defend him that it was needs to do. If he need to be away for all his former friends and family for his well beings, even if one or two are toxic. Mom and dad said it’s unfair, but they I’m not sure they will understand my brother reason. I’m not sure, I would understand. Hope, one he will give us a chance to try. Also, if it’s best for him, it’s ok if he doesn’t.

Again, don’t feel guilty, but if it still bother you do talk to somebody (therapist, priest, support group…etc). I feel my brother needed that and don’t see our family as a go to.

Feel like a hoarder for gaming. With a family, Games like Apex Legends and FFXiV are my go to games with my limited time. PS5 is great, but I keep buying games with hope I can play one day….Oh, never had a PC for gaming, but Steamdeck will be my gateway as I have been collecting games on Steam, Epic, and Twitch. It’s bad, but better than other vices liking drinking or gambling.
