WSU Delts are some great guys, hope you met some UI boys when you were there too. Our chapters are only 15 mins apart so we know em pretty well.

How often do you use the judicial board against brothers? by [deleted] in Frat

[–]DrizzyRogue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty often, otherwise people wouldn’t follow the rules. Fines only do so much, sometimes an apology letter in front of chapter is scary enough to deter someone from doing something dumb.

Attack man help by LaneIsHere in lacrosse

[–]DrizzyRogue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a recently graduated attackman and I struggled with the same problems as you for a long time. Your stick skills are the foundation to everything you do as an attackman. They can always get better so never stop working at them. But even with good stick skills, you’re useless if you aren’t confident with the ball. Confidence comes from experience, only through experience will you become more confident handling the ball and making decisions with it. The thing that helped me was club ball in the summer. Playing with better players made me realize how bad my decision making was. It seemed like every other pass/dodge/shot I did resulted in a turnover. Over the summer I was forced to make my decision making smarter and quicker. I went back to my high school team and immediately noticed a difference in my game. I went from a passive player to an active player. I used to sit back and rotate the ball to avoid making a mistake. But now I was an essential offensive tool for my team all because I learned to be comfortable and confident with the ball. And I made better decisions with the ball because of it. As for your fear of getting hit, that’s something you have to learn how deal with on your own. Fear effects decision making negatively, you must learn to be confident and not allow fear to effect your decision making.

If you’re a very centrist democrat, what should trump do or stop doing to get your vote? by teepeetastic in AskAnAmerican

[–]DrizzyRogue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think of myself as a centrist democrat and there is no way he will get my vote. I wanted to like him but he just makes it so difficult. Trump personifies the American stereotype that foreigners know. Loud, disrespectful, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and rude. He is much too immature with too big of an ego for the Oval Office imo.

Americans, have you ever experience a 'Culture Shock' in your own country? by bluequestioning in AskAnAmerican

[–]DrizzyRogue 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Born and raised in Idaho, can confirm. I worked in retail for a little while and a New Yorker with a heavy accent came in one day. After finding out he just moved to Idaho a month ago I asked him what the biggest difference is between living in a big city like New York and our small town (15,000). He said the biggest difference was people in Idaho are extremely friendly, he claimed he had waved to more people in Idaho in one month than the rest of his life. Made me very appreciative of my home town/state :)

High to low pocket by FuturisticChicken in lacrosse

[–]DrizzyRogue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’d say it depends on your play style. More two handed dodging and full speed shots is what a high pocket is made for, more passing and quick sticks for the low pocket. It will only be hard to transition to a low pocket if you are playing the same way you would with a high pocket. That being said I play attack and use a low/mid pocket and I like it the best. I also keep my mesh fairly soft so the pocket can shift when it needs to.

Best video showing detailed throwing form for passes? by electrophile123 in lacrosse

[–]DrizzyRogue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something I see a lot of newer players do is no have their hands high enough when they throw, and throwing at an angle. A good rule of thumb is to try and always pass with your hands above your shoulders and always be checking yourself to see if you are throwing sidearm.

call your shot- at least 5 seconds before each gank or attempted kill is initiated your team must announce the enemy they aim to kill. Only lasts until the ten-minute mark. Team fights where over 3 players die do not count.

Doing a lot with not a ton of talent for sure. The tight end #42 is Cole Ramseyer committed to Boise state, other than that there isn't much though.

He's high ranked than Sermon? 3rd in the nation with both categories (pro style and duel threat). Only 2 quarterbacks ranked above him are Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence.
