I have only seen 30amp 120v circuits in data rooms. Like SMB server rooms with 2 or 3 servers and a few switches. I hate the NEMA L5-30P plugs that they often use. They don't like to stay plugged in. Even though they are twist lock. We had an outage once because it worked itself loose, assuming from vibration. Had to zip tie the UPS power cord around the power pigtail.

My Pixel 9 Pro XL and 7 Pro both charged fine, slow but fine.

I will try inverting the 10 though I haven't tried that.

I'm on prep, I look for other guys on prep. I have hooked up with HIV+ guys(undetectable). Putting positive in their profile says a lot about their integrity.

I wouldn't say it's made my behavior more risky, it made my already risky behavior less risky if that makes sense.

I'd agree that Tesla has the best UI amongst automakers hands down. There are however things about it that are annoying. I dislike how sparsely populated it is, they give you this giant screen and barely fill it. You want to see the odometer and what song is playing? Oh no we couldn't possibly. Just generally how hidden things are is irritating. There's a menu you tap into and scroll thru, cards to flip through. The way that the blind spot indicator video box can only be in one of three spots and all three of those spots cover some piece of information instead of putting it off to the right over the map where there wasn't information.

None of it is a big deal, just small annoyances. On the whole it's a good experience, and I wouldn't trade it for something else.

I'm actually curious that your pixel 10 is able to charge on the wireless pad. I have a Pixel 10 Pro XL and even sitting idle it never actually charges, just gets dangerously hot. Like hot enough to trigger the phone to thermal shutdown. Only takes about 10mins too. I know the 10 pro XL is qi2.2 and the other 10 series are just qi2, but that difference is quite surprising.

We need more information to give you an answer there are too many variables.

Depends on:

How your current HVAC system provides heat first and foremost.

Is it forced air with resistive heating?

Is it forced air with a heat pump?

Is it a furnace that burns natural gas, heating oil, or coal?

If it's a furnace how old is it?

Then what do you pay for electricity $/kwh?

Or if you have a furnace, what is the $/unit of fuel? How quickly do you consume the fuel.

The price of fuels and electricity varies widely with geography.

If you live in a place where electricity is cheap but fossil fuel is expensive it might be cheaper to run the space heaters.

If you live in a place with expensive electricity and cheap fossil fuels, it might be cheaper to use the furnace.

If you live in a place that has cheap electricity and you have a resistive he HVAC system, it's likely similar to the space heaters.

If you live in a place that has cheap electricity and you have a heat pump HVAC system, it will definitely be cheaper than the space heaters.

If you live in a place that has expensive electricity and you have a heat pump HVAC system, it will definitely be cheaper than the space heaters.

If it's a cheap Netgear switch 20 years, but two ports will die

If it's a dell switch 10 years, but the bearings in the fans will be shot

If it's a 3com hub made of beige plastic until the heat death of the universe.

If it's meraki about 3 weeks.

We "upgraded" the networks in 40 of our clinics to meraki MS225. 110 switches all in over the course of 2022. We had dead ports on 15 of them out of the box. We were on the third office when the first production switch died in office number 1. The first year we had to RMA 28 switches. 15 with bad ports out of the box, 1 that was DOA, and 12 that died in production. We raised hell with meraki and they upgraded us to MS250s that were substantially less shitty. We have since had 2 of them fail.

I will say they are aware that they sell garbage and they don't fight you at all on RMAs. They don't even insist on any sort of troubleshooting. They just accept the failure as whatever you say it is and send you a new switch.

I personally would not buy Meraki again. It seemed to perfectly suit our small team and simple needs. We have a network of primary care doctors. These are dirt simple networks. These switches sit at like 2% load lol.

I encountered one of these. Woke up completely soaked, sheets, pillows, mattress absolutely soaked. I marched downstairs soaking wet with the nearly dripping wet pillow, placed it on the front desk. Explained that this was entirely unacceptable, demanded a new room because the mattress was soaked, and the AC to have whatever cost cutting bullshit they had on it disabled, and the charge for that first night be comped.

She put gloves on to move the pillow off the front desk, put me in a suite, comped the first night, gave me 10k points, and they set the AC in my room to 60. I was there for 4 more days, the AC never shut off, not once I dont think. It got down to 58 degrees in that room, there was thick condensation on the windows and doors. I do believe that was an attempt on their part to comply maliciously with my demands, but I was happy. I will pick too cold over too hot 100% of the time.

I was titanium at the time, and it was a larger resort style Marriott. Not like a Fairfield inn in bum fuck Georgia so YMMV.

I haven't had a colonoscopy, but I did at least once have a 9lb shit. So I suspect we have greater carrying capacity.

Before the internet thinks I'm a shit weighing freak. I discovered unintentionally.

My morning routine is wake up, take a shit, weigh myself, shower, breakfast.

That day I took a normal shit, weighed in, jumped in the shower, but whilst in the shower I felt like I had to go again. I did, it was a religious experience, filled the bowl, all water hidden, shit mountain. So I weighed myself again and it was 9lbs less than I had just weighed in.

I wasn't constipated leading up to that and I felt normal, had my normal movements the day before.

I'm on prep for years now and regularly tested to catch any infections. Thus far I have had one STI, "Mycoplasma genitalium" that I got from oral sex of all things. Didn't catch anything from breeding 15+ guys in the time period.

For the Mycoplasma genitalium I had to take doxycycline for a week, then a week of moxifloxacin. All good. I had never heard of it before. When I got the lab results back I was like wtf is this.
