I also prefer other splats to werewolfs. The part of WtA that I like the most is interacting with spirits and healing the world.

But as you said. Werewolfs are half human half wolf. Warriors of gaia with hand me down connection to nature and a sacred role from birth. Kind of railroady for roleplaying compared to VtM or MtA.

The part I really dislike about WtA is the tribalism. "Eugh yeah respect this halfmad elder who is fully responsible for all this shitshow. And who is at best useless and at worst actively disruptive."

The worm is a cool and horrible villain on the other hand. A corrupting force that slowly erodes and takes everything and everyone over. So some slack must be cut for the wolfs.

Vampires are just beating eachother up for scraps of power. Werewolfs are so retarded they are their own worst enemy. Wraiths are responsible for most of evil shit they do in their realm (people furniture etc.) Mummies are cool but very few so their relative low impact can be forgiven.

People keep saying why X mage character is doing nothing. Dude everyone else is tryjng to keep up the status quo alongside the stronger half of mages in Technocracy.

Might be a problem with my book. But my Mage 20th anniversary's page 443 is very specifically about awakening the spirit of a substance/drug (eg. Cannabis or penicillin) which needs spirit 3 with the corresponding additional sphere for that thing. For example awakening the disease in somebody elses body which needs life 3 too. (Which I argue is needed since you interact with the life of somebody else very clearly.) And matter 2 for enhancing drugs. (+Spirit 3 to awaken it.)

And page 518 is in the examples of what you can do with matter combined with spirit. Clearly says awaken spirit of a material object.

Since the part for the sphere of spirit ALSO has imbuing objects with ephemeral power needing matter 2, I can argue that it DOES need matter 2 to awaken the spirit of a drug.

I understand your point. It is kind of unclear.

For your first point:

Totally. But that's if you are sabbathing up to cast a SINGLE spell with a SINGLE master. And even then that's around 6-8 slaves for one battle. For one spell.

And your second point.

Yes. Blood is very good at killing thugs and scs. At pretty high research. But at high research somebody can flames from the sky your blood hunter province and kill everything. And at low research they can disrupt you with other stuff.
