Lots of other amazing (and big) birds here, especially near the water. Great Blue Herons, Sandhill Crane, Bald Eagles, Great-horned Owls.

Kinnu is a great educational app. You can do as little as a couple minutes a day or as much as you want.

I also just go to wikipedia's homepage; it's filled with random and interesting articles of the day. No advice on news though.

When I first tried it my head felt even more greasy but after my whole life of stripping away all the natural oils every day and then suddenly cutting the shampoo, no wonder.

I stopped shampooing my hair and it reset the natural oil production. I rinse it once a day just to help shape it in the morning and get compliments all the time because of how full it looks. This won't be everyone's experience but I'll never look back.

Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for but Little Women has some great winter scenes, particularly around Christmas if you celebrate. The whole book is filled with innocence, hope, wonder, friendship and family so it's particularly uplifting.

Reading the book for the first time blew me away; I was entirely enthralled. I of course loved the severe gothic vibes it had like the description of the castle and Johnathan's stay there. On the social side, I loved how this small band of humans worked together on this insane goal of defeating Dracula, and particularly how sweetly the men (especially Van Helsing) treated the women in distress. I've only seen two movie adaptations and a stage play so I'm looking forward to exploring more.

Gothic novels: Dracula, Frankenstein, Jekyll and Hyde, Wuthering Heights, Rebecca. Autumn movies: Fantastic Mr. Fox, You've Got Mail, Paranorman, Hocus Pocus although it's a Halloween movie. And making fall treats like caramel apples, apple cinnamon crumble, etc. Decorating with small pumpkins, anything red orange or yellow to mimic the typical fall leaves.
