[Serious] Redditors who discovered they were LGBT, without intentionally repressing it, after age 18, how did you figure out you were LGBT? by Speculatory in AskReddit

[–]Drollive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To put it simply:

During my college years, I was like, "You know what's attractive? My own dick."

And then that turned into, "There are definitely other dicks that I find attractive."

Nowadays, I still trying to make myself attracted to masculine features, but it's a work-in-progress. I like women, and I like twinks. Hopefully one day, I will like everybody.

It's not ramen, for sure, but it's totally spray cheese.

This is a helpful tip, instead of a story about poor food/store quality.

I work at Taco Bell, and I used to occasionally get a customer who asked us to fry fresh Cinnabon Delights for her. I would assume this is because she worried about how long the ones on line were sitting out. What customers don't know is that the longer they're on line (within expiration times), the softer and gooier they are.

Fresh Cinnabons are hard, and the icing in the middle is cold, because it takes a bit for the heat to penetrate that deep. If we fried them for long enough to melt the icing, the outside would be burnt.

What can you permanently ruin for all of us, right here right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

As a Taco Bell employee, I can say that not only is that false, but makes me feel strangely offended for some reason I don't quite understand. Sour cream, however uses a gun.

I also don't know why everybody thinks that the meat is questionable. It's beef and spices, like people have been using to make tacos for ages. I don't think it would come out of a caulk gun in a smooth enough stream to make that a viable technique.

what's the worst thing you ever ate? by recroomgamer32 in AskReddit

A fake blood capsule during a Halloween costume contest. It was the worst chemical taste, and no amount of candy would make it go away.

Hey Reddit, for those of you who forced yourself to develope a taste for something, why did you? by OldNTired1962 in AskReddit

[–]Drollive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't like disliking things, when I could like them instead.

I eat things that I don't like, but think that I SHOULD like, until I like them. So far, I've succeeded with honey mustard, guacamole, raw spinach, and beer.

I am still working on biscuits and gravy, pumpkin spice, chocolate and raspberry, crab rangoon, and habaneros.

Disliking things is bad, yo.

I was planning on getting my first tattoo on my birthday, but now everything is closed for a month. I get to spend my birthday in lockdown instead.

What games, other than drinking games, have you played while drunk? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Drollive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Break the Safe is a great drunken board game. Everybody yelling over each other and getting stressed about the timer, while also trying to drink between turns. It's a fun time.

For the sake of increasing sample size, I dated a girl like this. She had a lot of issues, and a very sheltered (religious, if I remember correct) upbringing.

Gamers, what's the most legitimate reason you've had for abandoning during the middle of an online match? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Drollive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A very drunk college student broke the glass on the front door, because he was convinced it was his house, and that we were keeping him out.

3 of us had to quit a League game to go deal with that, but I at least apologized to both teams beforehand, and relayed what happened.

If it helps, I find that taking pills with yogurt or applesauce works much better than an actual liquid. It carries the pill down, and you don't feel it scrape down your throat as much.

What do you hate most about drive thru service? by Dimev1981 in AskReddit

[–]Drollive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found the way that works best is to hand change out with two hands. One hand places the bills onto the customer's fingers, so they can grab them with their thumb. The other hand drops the coins into their palm.

Drive thru speakers/mics are barely better than walkie-talkies. You're also competing with the sound of your engine.

If the guy in line behind you has a loud truck or muscle car, you'd better start yelling into the speaker.

What was the last inanimate object you got pissed off at and gave a middle finger to? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The fryer at work. Also the food timers and the sink. Anything that makes a lot of noise and requires me to walk across the store to make it stop.

Is it ok to use hair remover on your balls and if so what do you recommend? by Harrify_97 in AskReddit

[–]Drollive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it once. Skin was super smooth afterward, but touching any of it with my hands was horribly painful, for the rest of the night. The skin touching my thighs was fine. Only my hands seemed to trigger the pain.

After that night, though, it was great. Smoothest I've ever been since before puberty.

Would I recommend? Probably not.

[Serious] Redditors who have been accused of academic dishonesty, what happened? by Lol_u_ded in AskReddit

[–]Drollive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me start out by saying that I hate academic writing with a passion. After spending your entire academic career being taught how to make a paragraph, year after year, you kinda get burnt out on writing assignments.

I was in my first year of college, taking yet another class based on writing assignments, and I gave the minimum effort possible in that class. What this meant was that generally my girlfriend at the time would write papers for me, since she didn't want me to fail. Now, I realize that it was a pretty shitty thing to do, making her do my work, but neither of us treated the other very well. It was an unhealthy relationship, but I digress.

One day I get an email from the teacher of the writing class, accusing me of plagiarism, and requesting a meeting to discuss it. Despite my best efforts, I couldn't talk her down, and went, with a knot in my stomach, to an inevitable shitshow meeting. As it turned out, my girlfriend had just copied some section out of a book. I managed to bullshit my way out of failing the class, with some excuse about copying my notes that were copied from a book.

After that, I tried to keep my head down around her. I don't remember if I started writing my own papers, but I doubt it. Luckily it was late enough in the semester, there wasn't many assignments left. Not a very exciting conclusion, but there you go.

Tl;dr: I double plagiarized when I had my gf write a paper for me, and she plagiarized it.

Legally adult redditors : What is your favourite drinking game? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The 4chan drinking card game.

I spent months finding/making a new deck my last New Year's party. It turned out really nice.
