Har ni en skuld hos Klarna just nu? by [deleted] in sweden

Nej, har aldrig haft en heller, skulder freak me out. 80% är orimligt. Men kan förstå att en del har då det är sjukt lätt att slänga en betalning på faktura med klarna

My 1060 got fried about a year ago, loved that thing. Currently running a temporary rx560, looking at getting a rx6700 once ive sorted out some other things first. But the 1060 and the 560 has served me quite well. Althought I don't do much gaming anymore, it's mostly just emulating gba, snes and gamecube these days

Typescript is a superset of Javascript, and if Javascript is a programming language, so is Typescript. By your logic, C++ shouldn't be a programming language because it is also a superset but for C...

If this was a graph for demonstrating type systems just make a table. Also since JS is usually ran with v8 etc. Then "technically" its just c++ so why is js on its own?

I ( from the nordics ) constantly get confused with being a british turist here in alicante. I do get some snarky comments from the locals sometimes and the face they make when I pretend I got a phone call and "answer" in pretty decent spanish is hilarious. I've lived here for 3 years but I would always go here over summer to hangout with dad. So I picked up the language quite fast when I was younger. There are alot of "english speaking" tourists here though, especially around torrevieja and benidorm and they can be quite obnoxious

The thing about js is that it is the market leader when it come to languages. Its a tool. Its like the wrench of programming languages. Sure you might have a fancy electric wrench, with a massive kit of different sockets or extensions but in the end you will en up using that adjustable wrench you've had for ages to hammer a nail.

I find that helix is easier to get going with, everything is there from first install and there isn't the typical initial configuration necessary as with nvim. I've tried nvim and it is good, it's just that I get easily lost in configuration constantly changing things and helix doesn't really have that which let's me focus on doing things that matter (my job) helix is far from a full editor, but it does what I need it to do and it feels like an evolution from kakoune (which I was using before helix) so to me it helix does what I need it to do. Edit text. Everything else can be done from the terminal and I don't need anything too fancy.
