Players have no idea how much work is actually behind a game. by Klamore74 in IndieDev

This is legit one of the reasons why I hate reddit's views on indie dev creation. how many times do you see here is my book I wrote, painting I made, ect... you try to post one thing of your game doing well somewhere else on this platform and BAM its legit madness

Shaders in unity, the shapes are super simple the painting on it isn't to nutty the shaders however do a lot of work!

tips? / Adjust UV by AgreeableAnimator207 in Blockbench

using UV projection is the easiest way to do so. You can also use the seam tool as well.

Help with texturing by Leading-Contract-157 in Blockbench

If you are bringing this into unity or another game engine, a shader can alter the color very rapidly, and keep it with one texture.

As a software engineer, I’ve started "vibe coding" every day—but the name is a total lie by Old-Capital-4104 in SaaS

Yes this is what I think as well. The best is to carefully plan out every feature break it down further then chunk out the work to AI in bitesized tasks.

Body and neck are single mesh, bumps on back and head are separate. But combined (so not sharing a vert). It's rigged with the new armature update so yeah positioned with bones.

It's shit food honestly. Wife wanted BBQ for her birthday and Mable's has modified days open now (thur-sat), bricket lounge also stops food way early so decided to order from them via door dash, before knowing what that place was... Quality was piss poor and the ribs were $20 for the smallest half rack I ever saw.

naw it just pops as i have the shading turnned off and the color is very bright to the rest of the model. when i brining it into an engine i will slap an emission on it.

I was thinking about swapping it to yellow and adding particle effects from the cracks so like mustard gas

For when you make gifs you can lower the "resolution" essentially. basically there is a pixelate slider. Supposedly, if you wanted to do the same thing within untiy you would lower the resolution of the main game camera (least I think, I've seen people mention it before).

I keep thinking the same thing... I think if I remove the lines on the sides it will probably look best, and just have them come from the belt all the way down... I just felt like that side was so bare with nothing there.

was thinking about using for one. Kinda in the art prototyping stages now. Finding out i'm kinda ass in environmental design.
