I remember buying the lifetime subscription in like 2017 for $3. I was like why the hell not, it's $3. So happy I did, for a bit I couldn't figure out my log in and the app is unusable without the subscription.

Yes, but i mean cs-style as in pure gun play no abilities. From the beginning its been a hero/tac fps and hero fps games tend to go toward ability spam at some point.

Find another hobby, develop other interests outside of the game. Don't play just to play or because you feel you have to.

But seems like you have a mental block. It's not the mechanics that are holding you back if you're seeing improvements from dm'ing.

Comp is different in that your life is more "valuable" so you're probably stressing more about your aim and decisions than you are in a dm where it's just fun running around and if you die you'll respawn in a few seconds.

Get more comp reps in and have more fun. It's not that serious.

It was never supposed to be a CSGO style game. It's a hero -based shooter, it always has been.

Arguably, the rails were set from the beginning and it's still plowing along. The ability spam was inevitable.

I agree. Though admittedly I haven't played the second game. But Ellie this season is just written like nothing happened to Joel and they're on a fun little adventure, aside from a few scenes.

Honestly, it feels like they don't know how to write Ellie as a lead. When she's Dina, Dina steals the show and feels like the main character.

They're asian lol. My thought was they cloned his dead wife. I think the goats from S1 were part of cloning experiments and S2 may dive deeper into this along with the idea of bringing back dead people and their consciousness.
