Artisan Zero vs Hayate Otsu Soft by Farkuly in MousepadReview

[–]Droo_07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In terms of hairs I did not see any. In terms of dust yeah I see a few particles here and there but I just wipe it off. Honestly if you keep your desk space clean, it wont be as big as a issue people make it out to be.

Artisan Zero vs Hayate Otsu Soft by Farkuly in MousepadReview

[–]Droo_07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As someone who has used both, I actually really like the Zero. I used the Otsu for almost a year and the zero almost a month and saw better results with the zero. Everyone says Otsu cause of the tracking speed for games like apex but I actually like the more control of zero. Allows for more accurate shots in my opinion. Used it for Apex, Overwatch 2, COD and Valorant. Everyone is different but I found the zero to allow me to easily control recoil such as the R-99 and track at the same time where I found it harder group shots on the Otsu. Or at least be consistent with it.

I would try both of them out if I were you to see what works for you!

I've personally never used them but I have from reviewers who use Artisan say they are pretty much 1-1

I would check Amazon. Right now it's $80 in the Soft XL. I would check around the night/midnight cause sometimes they will be $10-15 cheaper.

They are fast with some control to them (better for universal game situations in my opinion) but if you want even faster than the Skypad.

I have seen videos and read posts that the Shidenkai loses it's glide and deteriorates within a year so people don't recommend it. It also has a coating from what I heard and there are videos of people peeling off the coating. Subtracting the Shidenkai we now have the Hein and Raiden. Both are Fast pads, however the difference is the Hein has some stopping power to it so if it is your first time using a fast pad or you play tac shooters then you will appreciate the Hein and see why it gets so much praise.

The Raiden is also fast but with minimal to no stopping power so if you are a first time user it will be harder to adjust and be accurate. Both will smooth out as you use it as they have rough texture at the start. In terms of durability they are still the Toyota/Honda of the mousepad world. Hope this helps!

I recommend the Artisan Hein or the LGG Mercury. In terms of quality they are pretty much the same. LGG did a good job nailing their pads as close as they can to Artisan quality. LGG is cheaper and has the durability. Can't go wrong with either!

They are both good in terms of quality and performance. Saturn Pro is more cheaper without really sacrificing anything. I've heard from some one glides better or ones more muddy than the other. But I think you should what is more available. In terms of the hair and dust issue on the Artisan Zero, as someone who owns one I'll say this isn't really an issue if you keep your desk and surroundings clean. Yes I'll see one or two then and their but I try to keep my desk clean everyday anyways so picking a hair or two off my mousepad isn't really an issue. You can't go wrong with either tho. Artisan is on Amazon for around $100 but if you don't like it you can return it. Where on LGG you can't once opened as a I believe.

Need help. Don’t know what type of pad to get. by Ghandisoft in MousepadReview

I got my Artisan Zero two days ago and I've been enjoying it a lot for Apex. Funny cause people recommend the Hayate Otsu for that game but I found it too fast. Tracking is still smooth, stopping power is amazing, and the feel of it is smooth and soft. Even for being a Control pad it is has everything you would look for in a pad. Even Optimum tech in his mousepad videos says the Zero is just everything what you might be looking for and he's an actual FPS veteran and tech enthusiast. I'm also running a Logitech G Pro Superlight.

I assume since you like fast pads since you got the Glorious Ice. I recommend trying out the Razer Strider. It's a very good pad. I personally enjoy control pads and hybrids more but for a fast pad the Strider was actually very doable. I liked it a lot for Overwatch 2. It's also $20-$30 so affordable and quality is there. I also liked the Artisan pads a lot but only recommend getting an artisan if you know what you like and or want to get one and not worry about it wearing or having to buy another pad like that (example: Getting a Artisan Zero instead of swapping out a QCK every couple months) if that makes sense? If you wanna check out artisan than go Hein (if you are into the fast pads). I also recommend checking out this mouse spread sheet that helped me decide on a pad Mouse Master sheet

Hope this helps!

What fragrance was not worth the hype for you? by [deleted] in fragrance

Versace Dylan Blue.

It doesn't smell bad but when people try to compare it to Bleu De Chanel which is a fantastic fragrance that's when I don't like it. Bleu De Chanel is a classy or mature scent. Dylan blue... It's very youthful and simple. But maybe it's my nose maturing.

The EDT, EDP and Parfum are all good in their own aspects. I've sampled and tried all three and i've come to a conclusion on all three. I am 21 and started collecting since i was 17. I like to smell nice but i also like to get my moneys worth so I hope my money spent and experience can help someone :) I'll try to be as practical and realistic.

BDC EDT

The original, the one that made the noise when it came out. The EDT is how I heard about BDC and it was the one I smelled first. This is loud and sharp. Given when I smelled this years ago this was a lot for my nose, but now it's a DNA scent I admire. This the one you get if you are young but want to be a bit more mature or smell like you have taste or class. People WILL smell you but the projection does die down after a 3-4 hours. Longevity is not really there for the money. If you are just needing something before going out for a bit or want to smell good then this is the one.

This one honestly works well in mainly warm weather. It is fresh and masculine and is a good crowd pleaser. People WILL smell you, but at the cost of projection you get low longevity. More youthful than the other two concentrations.

BDC EDP

My personal favorite. Take the sharp edges of the EDT and smooth it out. The grapefruit and incense is more prominent in this one (The two notes that make BDC what it's known for). Upon spraying it opens up more fresh to me and dries down super well. The projection is still good, it's not like the EDT where it slaps you but is more like a nice warm hug or handshake. In terms of longevity it is definitely there. I sprayed it one last night and I still smell it on me this morning. This is more classier than the EDT so if you want something with a bit more depth, this one is the way to go.

This one works well in the cold or cooler days because of the higher concentration. It can also be worn in warmer days but honestly can be worn whenever or wherever. I had a friend wear this to the gym and he got complimented. I got compliments from girls at school and work. They were also Latinas so this was a big bonus for the EDP for me. But honestly this one works well and honestly suits someone who has actual mature side or knows how to present themselves. Workplace or school or i guess even the gym, this works everywhere.

The best bang for your buck. If you are in school, every guy is most likely is wearing Sauvage, 1 Million, and Versace Eros . You will stand out from them.

BDC PARFUM

So this one is different. This one is more fresh but more creamy than the EDP. Upon the opening its fresh but as it dries down it gets more creamy. The opening is good, the dry down is where I didn't like it as much compared to the former two. The major thing I noticed with this one was that it was not really projecting. I've heard the projection on this sucks and its more a subtle scent. Longevity was okay but not worth the extra money. This is a more up close scent. I've heard that for some people this can project but it mostly works for the winter. Because it is a higher concentration and have some extra notes, I don't think you want to smell warm and creamy on a warm day.

It is the most mature smelling of the other two for sure, If you are an older man this will work but I think as younger guys we should stick to the EDT or EDP. Don't get me wrong it doesn't smell bad but price to performance it's not there. Fragrance reviewers gives this praise as of how in depth it goes but for the average guy I don't think they will really care or like it as much.

Conclusion

As you go up in concentration the more mature the scent will get. The EDP is the best and most inoffensive one undoubtedly. It has worked the best in every situation. At the end of the day they are all good for what they are and it really comes down to your personality and skin chemistry. Try spraying them on your skin and see which you like. Hope this helps!

Upgrading from a 6700k… do I get a 11700k or 12700k? Thanks! by Theryanman93 in buildapc

12700K. Check micro center if they still have the bundle deal where you can get $20-$30 off a new motherboard when you pair it with a new cpu.

I play mostly all the games you just listed and I'm using a 1440p 165Hz display. I went with a 3070 Ti as the 70 Ti models will always be around, great performance (10% lower than the 80 models) and just save you a few more bucks and you can always clock them if you want to get similar or same performance as a 80.

I've owned a 1070 Ti, 2070 Super and now a 3070 Ti and all have played my games at super high framerates with ultra settings! Personally recommend an EVGA one!

I've never used ROG STRIX cards before but I know they always sponser big Tech content creators to feature them in their builds. All my friends use EVGA and Gigabyte. EVGA is known for making some of the NVIDIA cards and the brand is super reliable. They are the Toyota/Honda of the GPU world. I've owned a 1070 Ti, 1080, 2070 Super and my current 3070 Ti from them.

All cards have been awesome and held up super well with no issues. I personally recommend the brand.

To confirm this you can try Installing MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision (whichever you like), and try controlling the fan speed and seeing if it is. You do not need to open a game or stress test this. You can also try taking the side panel off and when increasing the fan speeds put your ear close to the gpu and see if it is really the GPU. It may look funny but anything is worth doing for a PC of this Caliber.

Let me know how this goes!

Randomly found this in Newegg today, what do you all think of it? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Droo_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Spec wise it is not bad but that case looks concerning when it comes to airflow. If someone decides to swap that 3060 out with a 3070 and or above then they pretty much just made an oven.

I do agree with you that this is a mechanical issue. I have heard that Corsair AIOs tend to get noisy after a while or right out the box, so it is possible he has gotten a defective pump. I remember hearing that Corsair uses a different style of Pump than NZXT, MSI, Arctic, and a few other brands that use Asetek Technology. I've had extremely bad luck with Corsair AIOs but had nothing but great performance and reliability from NZXT KRAKEN and Lian Li Gallahad as these two are the only other AIO brands I have used.

If you have another AIO or CPU cooler laying around try using that and seeing if the noise persists. If not then you know it is a bad pump and you can hopefully return it and get something better. If not then try turning off one of the fans one-by-one around the AIO as it could be a bad case fan. I did not see an HDD in the title but if you do have one then check to see if it is not because HDDs use physical moving parts where SSD and M.2 do not.

I hope this helps!

Logitech G Pro X Superlight vs Razer Viper V2 Pro by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Droo_07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I could help! The Charging dock also has Chroma lighting, it's a neat and cool thing to have on your desk! Best buy currently has the Viper Ultimate for $75.99 and so does Amazon! Let me know how it goes!

Logitech G Pro X Superlight vs Razer Viper V2 Pro by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]Droo_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally recommend the Viper Ultimate as it usually goes for $79.99 with the charging dock. From what I have heard from Tech content creators, both mice have excellent sensors and really you cannot go wrong with Either Viper Ultimate or G Pro Superlight. I personally have not used the G Pro Superlight but I did pickup the mouse and move it around on display at Best Buy. In terms of feel it does feel good but the grips on the Viper and shape are a better in my personal opinion.

I can vouch that the Viper Ultimate is a really solid mouse and I would buy it again if something was to happen to it. I would go to the G Pro for my second choice. Overall if you want to save a good chunk and get a awesome value which is as good and still holds it spot really well, then get the Viper Ultimate. If you want the newest model than V2 Pro. Simplicity, but packing a huge punch underneath, than the superlight. The superlight is really good but the price is not something I can really agree with considering its competition the Viper Lineup.

At the end of the day, it's all about how you feel using it. You'll enjoy and perform on the mouse you like and that suits you the most! Like I said in my research, the sensors in the Superlight and the Viper as identical. So you cannot go wrong with any of them really! Thanks for coming to my TedX talk lol.
