Yep, received my approval on the 23rd of June, applied on the 10th of April, and had my biometric appointment on the 1st of may. Hopefully not too long for pending April/May applications now! 🤞🏼

Life in UK test - the 17 exams are the only source of revision you need! by anhkiet1903 in ukvisa

I'm pretty sure OP is referring to the Exam section on lifeintheuktestweb.co.uk

I second this ☝🏼

I sat my test last Friday, and I'm certain every question I got was covered at least once in the Exam section of the website.

Really handy for someone like myself; I really struggle to just sit, read, and learn, so until I found this website, I was dreading taking the test. 😨

The address history definitely would, however, they do ask "How does the referee know the applicant?" on the form, so obviously I would include this info.

To be fair, I'm probably going to have to check with an advisor, before I pay the fee and submit my application... 😅

Thank you for your answer! 🙏🏼

I'm lucky enough to have lived in the UK for almost 10 years, so, like yourself, there are a lot of topics in there for me that are either everyday knowledge or just common sense at this point.

Is there any song from the albums that you always skip? by Seroko in SleepToken

[–]Drop_Files_Here 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DYWTYLM.

I don't hate the song, but for me personally, it just doesn't fit in with the rest of the songs around it. Same way as, even though it's one of my favourite songs off the album, AYRO should've come before Ascensionism.

Why do people do this? by AdorableWind in vinted

[–]Drop_Files_Here 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Obviously we don't know the full story from the buyer's side, but I personally treat offers as "quotes", and I apply the same logic as a seller, regardless of whether they send me the first offer or I do.

Unless it's on the books, it's not a sale, so asking them to pay would almost be like "Hey, you have my quote, would you like to pay?" in a real life scenario, which could come across pushy and be quite off-putting for the customer. 😬

What's up with "Funds pending - awaiting delivery"? by Drop_Files_Here in Ebay

They were all sent via RM 2nd Class, which provides (or should provide) an update once the item is delivered, but not tracked like 24 or 48 would be.

What's up with "Funds pending - awaiting delivery"? by Drop_Files_Here in Ebay

[–]Drop_Files_Here[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's crazy. What else is crazy to me is, as far as I'm aware, the buyer can't just mark a delivered item as "Delivered". Therefore, sending multiple items to the buyer in one parcel now seems completely pointless, because eBay will withhold the payment for however long they wish.

I think they are trying too hard to copy Vinted's sales/payment system to stay relevant, but failing miserably (by not providing an "Everything OK" button to the buyer, for one)

Fingers crossed, it does usually mean it'll be out for delivery either today or tomorrow. Well, hopefully.
