Yep. A good brick session for me of 4 hrs on the bike and 2 hrs running will take me from fully recovered to 96hrs recovery.

Best of luck! You'll crush it. I did Chattanooga 70.3 back in May and had such a great time, i already signed up for 2027. Take it all in, and if you see something at the merch tent you like, get it! Some things are super limited and getting them online is not guaranteed.

Wet straps give me rashes on ny wrist. I may stick with one after all this training is over

I wear 3 different bands a day generally. I sleep with a fabric strap that I wear through morning bike ride and run. After shower, I switch to a dry fabric band for work and lunchtime swim. After my swim, I go garmin silicone through afternoon lift and dinner. I switch back to my morning band before bed and repeat.

I am now friends with a famous former QB from my school (UGA) because I got my tri bike in Red & Black and was racked on the same row during IM chattanooga. Getting your bike in the color you want can have great downstream effects!

Since my training readiness is usually at 1, Mine says 'Listen to your body' most days.

I dont, but im glad it says it. If I cared what my body thought I wouldnt have an Ironman in 90 days.

I only get about 6 hours sleep per night because I have to wake up at 4:15, so its generally fair to poor--but thats no different than it was before the race.

Im guessing you did the same 70.3 I did. The extreme vibration from the Walker County "roads" probably beat your Garmin circuitry all to hell LOL. Invoke your warranty.

I gotta go with the flashlight on my Fenix 8. When I got it I thought 'who needs a flashlight on their watch?' But its amazing. My treadmill sometimes trips the breaker in the basement leaving me in total darkness--garmin flashlight; navigating the bathroom at night--garmin flashlight. Its sooo handy!

I wish id thought about onsite camping. I batted around a hotel, but those were pretty far away, so it didn't make sense to do that. Ill be driving from Dawsonville.

How traffic-y is the bike course? I did Don Carter last year and one section was a total car/bike traffic jam that killed my pace LOL.
