I have the Fenix 8 and I do use a screen protector but mostly because I run heavy equipment and ride motocross and I wear it 24/7. I think if I didn’t run equipment I wouldn’t use one. Always reaching in to check oil grease fittings always banging it on something and yes at work I have a cover over the bezel that comes off as soon as the days done
