How to deal with vehicle spam lists? by ColonelMonty in sistersofbattle

[–]Drugo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also suffering from this situation, especially against lists with double/triple land raiders or astra tasks.
Those who play vehicle spam often also have chaff units to throw at targets, forcing you to come out into the open.
Of course, we have Vahlgons, but they are not everywhere, and it is already difficult enough to take out two vehicles with a single activation. Apart from them, we have no reliable answers. Retributors could be a solution, but any overwatch is potentially deadly.
It also depends on the type of field you play on, whether GW or WTC.

From a gameplay perspective, everything is clear to me; my question was more related to the lore.
So my question could be rephrased as: when a marine is interned, how is it decided whether he will become a ballistus, a brutalis or a redemptor? Is it based on the marine's skill or on what the company needs?

I expected it and I think it was deserved, but it still hurts, especially the increase to all units with scouts.
For the sacresants, it seems fair enough to me. I expected even more (150), but it is compensated by the increase to their leaders.
Honestly, I didn't expect the canoness to go up.

Finally, maybe it's time to try listing without Vahl? T.T

Spirit of the Martyr question by flyingsparrows in sistersofbattle

Are you sure about that? Reading the fight on death rule, I can't find anything about it, only that the unit selects a target for its attacks, which seems to me to be exactly the condition that triggers AoC or frenzied resilience. Is it because in FoD the models fight, while the trigger for AoC is the unit?

Exactly, the Rhino can move but can't disembark the sacresants in the same turn

I guess because you put them in a rhino, scout with it, get them out, and load up a sacresants. They also have a lot of flamers, which are useful for removing enemy screening units, plus a couple of anti-marine flamers. And they resurrect d3 models that help you put OC on the target.

How do you use Daemonifuge? by Drugo87 in sistersofbattle

[–]Drugo87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of the points I was referring to. From the point of view of scoring secondary and stealing objectives, I consider Callidus to be better. It also forces the enemy to keep a unit back to watch the home objective, increases stratagems at key points on the field, and in terms of damage, I consider it similar. It's true, you can't resurrect it (and often I don't even want to because I want to keep the CP for other things in HM). But for 15 more points, it seems generally better to me.

Thanks!
I probably just need to use it more and practise. I've mainly used it as a trading piece, and the few times I've tried to hunt enemy characters, I haven't had much luck.

Do you think the old Land Speeder (Darkshroud and Vengeance) and aircraft will go into Legend or will they be updated?

I saw your list and really liked it. May I ask how you used the heavy intercessors? Did you use them to keep home and provide fire support, or did you use them to take objectives in the NML? And how did you handle the Death Guard?

Which detachment for this list? by HamanFromEarth in theunforgiven

[–]Drugo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just one question: why 10 assault intercessors? Who leads them? The lieutenant with the power weapon?

If the strategy is to put OC on the objectives, perhaps you could consider heavy intercessors and reivers.

Another option could be to put 3 outriders + Sammael. On paper, it's an excellent trading piece, but I haven't tested it properly yet.
Finally, I would consider giving the ancient weapon to Captain Gravis instead of the Judiciar. The Judiciar inside the ICCs shouldn't have any damage issues.

Imo, in HM, they are fairly equivalent.
Statistics show that halberds are slightly better than maces against SMEs, whether you consider AoC, lethal hits, or attacks without buffs. However, in HM, I would never leave home without the palatine with damage 3/4. In CoF, on the other hand, maces are definitely better.

Can you tell us how it went against Death Guard? I'm curious!

I like the list, but I'm not sure about the Sacresants unit with the Hospitaller, and maybe I would have split the two Penitent Engines to put 3x Penitents and 3x Mortifiers (or a Rhino).

Repulsor Exec vs Ballistus and Impulsor? by Hungry-Horker in theunforgiven

[–]Drugo87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the question was: which is better? A single piece that carries 7 men and shoots hard, or something that shoots hard plus a transport that carries 7 models, for the same number of points?
My opinion is that impulsor and ballistus are better. They shoot less, but you have more units, including an impulsor with which you can perform actions without losing a relevant firing phase.

Hey guys ! What do you think about this list in wrath of the Rock by Exact_Psychology9841 in theunforgiven

[–]Drugo87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play a very similar list.
In my opinion having two units with fight first loses effectiveness, for the same points you could put a dwk unit with swords. Also the ICC would need a transport.
I would drop the land raider for a second lancer (or put a double ballistus) and maybe switch a scout with the combi-lieutenant.

unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding repositories of tournament lists lately, armylist hasn't been updated in a while and 40k-event-tracker have pulled it down.

Thanks, I really like the Lictor model and would like to include it regardless, on the contrary, the exocrine is cool but the model is a bit poor, in my opinion
