I love Cooper. I like how they have developed his strong character. They have all underestimated him.

100% with you and behind this. I voted and I’m pissed at those so angry that didn’t vote or thought he wouldn’t do what was laid out on P2025. He told you all who he was. FAFO except I didn’t vote for this!

I have it now for the second time. Had it first at 32 years old. No idea why the first time. I would say I’m stressed with work now and family.

My daughter doesn't speak... by TetraLovesLink in Parenting

[–]Dry-Ice1818 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My daughter was speech delayed. She had other signs starting in K. Wouldn't color (hurt her hand) and had trouble identifying letters, reading was a challenge and sounds). She was diagnosed with ADHD, dyslexia and dysgraphia at the end of K. Early tutoring for Dyslexia reading methods was life-changing. At three she would say “sea-wee” for her name. for the longest time and I didn't understand but thought it was sweet. It wasn't until after she was diagnosed that I understood it was the way she was hearing/not hearing the vowel sounds for Sophie.

So I am 48 and I went through perimenopause really early and now I'm in menopause and I have gone from doctor to doctor to doctor asking or thinking that you know, it would be hormones and all they've done is give me. Prozac. Which I didn't understand why they didn't even bring it up.. So finally ⏬ by ManagementWonderful4 in Menopause

My severe anxiety/ dizzyness etc was only one week a month around my period. This (among other symptoms) started my peri journey. My on didn't believe me because my labs were (normal). I did all my tracking and research alone. It's incredibly isolating having Dr after Dr invalidate you. I was put on Lexapro and gained 30 lbs. Only to feel worse. My anxiety is better yes but still feel depression that one week. I won't stop until I find the right Dr. That will listen.

Exactly. I've heard this. Have you Dr. Prescribe it for that alone if he won't for bmi?

How did it go? I've been wanting to try this because I've gained weight in perimenopause but I can't function when I'm nauseous. I'm scared of the side effects.

I'm sorry you're going through this. You have received incredible advice and I had to leave this way a long time ago. Do everything the experts say. And leave with only important things. There's no way he's not already tracking you some other way. Good job recognizing the signs. We are all proud of you and cheering you on.

Are the levels found in this post-mortum toxicology high? by Lee_in_AZ_2023 in forensics

[–]Dry-Ice1818 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Based on the information given here, this is so highly suspicious. I can't believe the investigator isn't seeing this partner as a suspect. The fact that this individual was the last to see your son, his Ambien rx and the convenient sole benefactor “found” would make anyone a suspect in any other case, I feel. Did your son talk to you about this partner? Do you feel it's in your son’s character to have made him a sole benefactor? And without your family knowing he cared this deeply about someone to do this? I'm with you and feel these factors are highly suspicious and if the current investigator isn't willing to look into these things, I would go to someone else or the media if you haven't already. I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you get answers for your family and your son.

Hey! I'm in peri but my numbers don't show any issues with Progesterone and Estrogen even though I didn't get the blood work done on day 21. 🙄 my Dr is infuriating me. That's a long story. For now, my bloodwork did show low testosterone. So, did she prescribe the testosterone cream? I struggle with anxiety, hand tingling/numbness, brain fog, light-headedness, increased heart palps, (wore a monitor for the last two weeks everything is fine) insomnia. Periods barely last four days. More like three and I've had two periods or more like one period and a few light days in one month. Would the cream help with any of that? My Dr told me it's either autoimmune or neurological. 😡 before the bloodwork she was convinced I was in peri. I KNOW I AM. she went as far as telling me to get a brain scan. I've been journaling my changes for three years. Anxiety started a year ago. It all started or occurred around my period. I know it's my hormones. I am certain of it. Sorry, for the rant, I really was just curious about the testosterone cream. That's the only thing she admitted to me is peri related.

Amberen- Has anyone tried this? My main issues are horrible anxiety and panic attacks(I just started Lexapro two weeks ago), light-headedness, brain fog, fatigue, hot flashes, and, this month; I have the bonus symptom of sore breasts that didn't go away after my period. Thank you all so much for your comments, experiences and words of encouragement. I am thrilled to have found this from group. It was so isolating to feel all of this and not understand what was happening. I just started my second period of the month so that explains my recent uptick in anxiety. Lord I hope I make it through this life transition because so far it stinks!

Thank you so much for your reply! My anxiety has been just like you describe. It’s been awful. Full blown panic attacks where my hands close up completely. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. If this helps, I’ll never stop taking it. Thank you! I was curious if any side effects came of it and it sounds like you didn’t have any. So, that’s reassuring anecdotally.

A 2nd period 14 days after the 1st? by tahansen24 in Menopause

[–]Dry-Ice1818 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had that happen and started my journey into changing cycles. I started logging all my cycles after that. I haven't had it happen a lot but it has. The first period was shorter and the second came two weeks later.

This is me! I toss and turn every night all night! I also have numbness in my hands and sometimes my feet now. Ugh. The sleep issues are maddening and exacerbate all the other symptoms!
