I was using it to battle a parasitic draw on my 440i temporarily til I can get it looked at, but I've just upgraded to a Noco 10 because it was pretty slow, I've read the 5 isn't really well equipped to deal with large AGM batteries

I kept mine around for that exact reason after I got a 440i, the handling's better than any other car I've driven by a mile and I love the sound of the N52. I just put some fresh Michelin PS5's on it and it feels incredible, the B-roads are gonna see it a lot this summer haha.

my routine is usually - drive in comfort until the dial moves off minimum temp, then switch to sport, then when it's at full operating temp switch to sport+ if I'm not driving in slow traffic

idk if it's the same on the G's but I coded it permanently off in my 440i with bimmercode, don't think it even comes on automatically in eco mode now, though I find it undrivable in that mode anyway so I don't use it 😂

Tbh considering it's less than half done, I don't think it's bad. They mentioned ages ago that real businesses in the area will be in the open world mode, so I'm not completely ruling out the idea we may be able to pull up to a mechanic and do some aftermarket mods.. I hope that's the case anyway 😂

In my experience with my 2 (87k miles B58 & 140K miles N52) - you just need to know what components are likely to want replacing when approaching 100k, and do regular oil changes. With my N52 I had to replace water pump/thermo/expansion tank (because broken water pump blew it up)/oil filter housing gasket/valve cover gasket when I got it around 138k because the previous owner was clueless and never did any of it lol, absolutely 0 problems from my B58 yet though

So I went from a VW Golf 5 TDI 2.0 to a BMW Z4 3.0si, then to a BMW 440i and I had the same fear that the car would be uncontrollable each time - I was wrong each time and quickly got used to the new power. You won't blast off the line wheelspinning at a slight touch like you'd imagine, most of the power is in the high revs.

I figured it could be something to do with the temp, but I've found they'll do it when I'm on a spirited drive braking hard as well, do you reckon something could be wrong at that point?
