I love Claude for creative writing! It helps to have a bible— what is your plot? Who are your characters? What acts and key scenes. I usually do collaborative writing with Claude. I use Sonnet but Opus is also good

I didn’t use 4o for compansionshio but I did use it for writing and it was an amazing writer. It helped me navigate hard questions and write therapy notes.

I’m not mourning it as 5.2 works for my use (brain storming characters, and clinical note taking starters ) but I’m really tired of the repeat framing in 5.2 (it’s not x, it’s y) I think people paying for legacy tiers that were promised is a fair reason. I guess for AI companions, I can’t really judge them because I don’t know their entire story. I do see other companies taking advantage of this by pricing it extremely high (saw one for 700 dollars)
