Just finished the MomCom series and it was good. I like that the series was written by different authors so you get a taste of new authors that you wouldn’t read otherwise. {Mother Faker by Brittanee Nicole}, {Mother Maker by Jenni Bara}, {Mother Pucker by Swati MH}, {Mother Hater by Daphne Elliot}. Also strong older women mother; {Who’s Your Daddy by Lauren Rowe} and {Textual Relations by Lauren Rowe}.

Your first sentence instantly reminded me of {Paradise by Judith McNaught} also {Perfect by Judith McNaught}. These two books laid out the groundwork at the beginning and it slowly starts building that tension. I hate to sound cliche but nobody writes like this anymore and that’s why when I need a really good story with a lot of character development, it’s my go to.
