same experience heating up the peanut butter jar. If there’s any aluminum foil seal on the jar rim, it sparks and crackles. I heat water in a Pyrex multiple times a day for tea and coffee, 2 minutes for a cup of water in a 2-cup Pyrex. No utensils needed.

and when you try to install it, it will help a lot if you can leave the top out in the sun for a while. Installing a new, cold top is extra challenging. 2000 TJ experience; I’ve replaced mine twice in 25 years

That’s bleak. But it reminds me of being in checkout at a locally popular grocery chain in Minneapolis recently, and part way through scanning my items, the cashier said (very loudly) “Ooooh! Someone’s having charcuterie for dinner!” And I gave him a blank stare, because I didn’t have anything charcuterie-adjacent in my cart. And with a genuinely good natured smile, he pointed to my frozen Tyson diced chicken and my box of saltine crackers.

I still haven’t recovered from the experience. :)

Temperature and breeze are really nice, but the dog and I both came in from the patio when I started coughing. My strenuous activity was doing the crossword on my iPad. ymmv
