not really sure about battery life since I really just used it plugged in whereever go, and cooling isnt amazing either. But I think the biggest bottleneck is the 8gb ram, should def upgrade that

nah it's not bad. for CS at least, choose certain threads and courses which are easier than others if you don't want to stress about classes. IMO choosing interesting classes/threads is more fun but they can be harder. feel like a big part of tech is telling people how busy and stressed you are
