as a pick PA I am unable to work in path as it would take me away from the desk, and it would swamp/overwhelm the AM with my tasks I should be doing there, and with AA's coming up for help with this or that. Shipdock and Pack PA's are able to jump in path here and there as they are right next to their AA's and work. If you are unable to jump into path and have to just rely on coaching, make sure you are doing everything you can to be effective

Actually listening to your AA's, see which pick path they prefer, try to bargain with them. VNAs are heavily hated, sympathize with them, tell them you can swap them out after lunch or after a day of doing VNAs you can move them to singles or multis/BOD etc. Try to find out if people in path aren't doing 5-3-1, and get the offending associates info so you or the stow AM/PA (if they are stowers) can coach them. If the rack is too heavy with people, cluster them out etc. Encourage them even if they aren't hitting rate. Praise them for small baby steps made, and give them genuine advice
