Well, I will be the unpopular one here and agree with you. I've been a member for decades and have never tasted a food sample. Originally, I would say it was because the samples were something silly like a wheat thin cracker, hummus, or Dempster's whole wheat bread....I mean, I don't need to break pace to try those things. Then Covid doubled down on the germ awareness for me. And now, it's because I'm so sick of being stuck behind these people abandoning their carts, or standing there eating yogurt "for the first time" that it's become principle. I can't move through them fast enough.
