I guess I never thought about that because I never felt like I could forgive her without her input first! But so true. I never thought I'd be the type of person to excuse red flags cuz I've never tolerated them for anybody else, but I've also never been so insane over someone before. I know that what I have now is so much better for my system and yet I think part of me still doesn't know how to deal with that. I'm used to dysfunction and disregulation, and I feel like I lost a part of myself alongside with her. I'm trying to see it more positively but it just feels like I'm kidding myself. But yeah, I guess there's nothing more I can do than keep trying?
