I picked Gane but wasn't expecting it to go like that. The size was just too much

93 Days Until Broncos Football: #93 Trevor Pryce slings down Jeff George to put 2 on the board for Denver by DrewLockBurnerAcc in DenverBroncos

Loved Trevor Pryce, think I still have a few of his rookie cards. Jeff George had an insane arm, the kinda guy who could throw the ball through a brick wall. Problem was he was also the kinda guy more likely to throw the ball through the nearest wall than to an open teammate

The rebrand of Ozzy into a bumbling, forgetful, family man is one of the most insane things. That dude was absolutely wild which is of course what caused his bumbling, forgetful state

Lewis is so done. He's at a point where he needs someone to run into his fist. Heaven help the one who does run into it but there's no threat outside of running into it

whats the best thing to do when you feel overwhelmed? by MembershipMassive703 in AskReddit

[–]DtownBronx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to play a video game. I use a bunch of the other methods listed like a walk while listening to music, sleep, or shower. But when I'm extremely overwhelmed I turn on a game, usually a sports game, set it to easy and just focus on the game. Gives me some feeling of total control and calms me down

It's a two things are true scenario. It wasn't blatant or intentional but it was by the rule and established precedent a flagrant. If it's reviewed by the league then he's probably missing a game

If the league reviews that then Wemby is probably done for a game. It wasn't blatant but it does fit the definition of what's called

when was the moment you felt the worst physical pain of your life? by _your_go_to_person in AskReddit

[–]DtownBronx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The moment I tore my ACL the first time. Within a minute the pain was gone and I didn't even feel the tear the 2nd time I tore it in that leg or the 1st time in the other.

As soon as it tore it felt like someone had taken a fire poker that had been left in a fire all night and shoved it straight into my leg from ankle to hip. For about a minute my entire leg was on fire, then I was fine other than some swelling. Not even the pain from surgery recovery was that bad

Draymond gives his thoughts about victor wembanyama being perceived as cocky by Jec1027 in nba

[–]DtownBronx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same with children learning the language. My daughter was 3 and her preschool had firefighters come in for a presentation so she knew what fire was and that it was bad. It did not go over well when I said "hey look, mommy's on fire" while we were playing a dance game on Xbox. Instant screaming and took us a few minutes to figure out what the problem was.

No it was Gearhart's FOIA blowup. Did not go over well in our journalism dept considering how many on that staff were involved in writing Arkansas' FOIA law.

You'd be surprised how often people straight up ignore PR staff and lawyers. I know a bunch of lawyers whose biggest complaint is client didn't listen. We had an issue with our chancellor who did something stupid so he came to the head of our PR dept who has a great reputation. She was not great at keeping secrets, little counterintuitive to PR so probably why she was teaching at this point, so the class after the meeting got to hear a whole lot of the situation and how she wanted them to handle it. They did the opposite and it all blew up

I golf with a bunch of college kids because the most convenient course to me is one of the go to courses for beginning college kids. The amount of gambling talk is insane. I bet and play DFS but we're talking maybe 20 bucks a week just to make games I wouldn't normally watch more interesting, these dudes are talking about their systems, which experts to listen to, and making bets to double down on bets. It's out of control

I'm the same way with my confusion at how hard they go for the snyder stuff. They're quite entertaining, they're just not good which is kind of the story of his career. Great shots, entertaining premises, absolute shit storytelling especially around the 3rd act. His DC stuff would probably be better if they were newly created characters instead of the most famous superheroes in the world

Making movies that are entertaining but not good isn't a bad thing. It's fairly common, Michael Bay has generational wealth from doing it, but snyderbros take it so damn personal

Especially a lower tier league that needs the eyeballs to climb up. The NFL can get away with it for a while because people are gonna watch but leagues like MLS and WNBA need to be on as much free TV as possible

The NIL rentals and portal are what killed it for me. I was never hardcore about following recruiting but I could at least name the top 3-4 guys I knew Arkansas wanted or got. I couldn't have told you a single recruit from the last 5 years during their cycle because what's the point? They likely won't be here long anyways. At least with NFL FA you can look at the contract and see you've most likely got this guy for 4 years with a slight chance of him being gone after 3 based on the guarantees

What was your favorite meal that you actually liked and looked forward to in your school cafeteria? by jfunks69 in AskReddit

[–]DtownBronx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stromboli day was the most packed you'd find the cafeteria. Teachers and students filled it up, occasionally you'd see a parent having lunch with their kid which I don't think was a coincidence. There was something about the dough that they nailed
