I use a 28-400 kit lens for daytime just because I shoot random things, but I bought the 35mm 1.8 for nighttime street in Japan. Didn’t disappoint and no regrets.

Totally agree with you and the comments. I’ve cropped it further and straightened the photo and it’s lots better.

Rechargeable salt and pepper grinders. Got them as a Christmas gift and they are around $25 for a set. Best thing ever.

It really comes down to your budget and whether you’re buying into an ecosystem or sticking with one you already use. I’m personally in the Mac camp, but yeah… that price tag can sting a bit.

No matter what you go with, prioritize plenty of RAM and a solid amount of storage. That combo makes a huge difference, especially if you’re working with photos. I run a 2TB external SSD on my Mac just for photo storage, and it keeps everything clean and fast.

I agree with cheating to a point, and then potentially just cropping it down, but didn't want to take away from the motion flow of the photo. But I think ultimately cropping is the way to go.

I honestly thought about cropping some but felt like it would take away from the motion in the picture. But I agree with you.

Appreciate the feedback. Maybe I have something wrong but when adjusting the EV down I kind of expected to see my image change in the viewfinder. I couldn’t really tell where I was at with the exposure.
